For years the political left has made fools of themselves by sucking up to celebrities. Both in election season and out of it, always it’s the same story. Susan Sarandon, Matt Damon, Eva Longoria and the rest of them all come out to support the Democrat party.
Want to weigh up the rights and wrongs of American foreign policy? Then make sure George Clooney is on your side. Want to address income inequality? Well make sure you’ve got Taylor Swift on board.
Of course the whole thing is ridiculous. And conservatives have not been shy about pointing out that fact. Because it is ridiculous.

It’s why conservatives generally don’t hold celebrities in high esteem. We like to associate with mature adults.
After WW2 during the commie purge of Hollyweird and the Wallace Progressive Party run for President film stars suddenly became great experts on foreign policy and war and piece. Sarandon’s liniel ancestress was the obnoxious Lauren Bacall who when not cuckolding her hapless Bogart was smarting off on how Truman was a war monger.

Seems a little unlikely since Sarandon was one year older than Bacall. No family connections are mentioned in the biographies of either one.

I’ve just never had much respect for Kayne’s stage presence or his recordings. I will admit being a proud Boomer who thinks my generation had the best popular music. I will even admit Candace knows a ton more about today’s media than I do.
I just hope she doesn’t go full bore Kardashian while trying to gain acceptance of the young.

I’m no Kanye fan and I find rap impossible to listen to— I’ve tried but just can’t swing it.
I agree, there isn’t much music I like nowadays and I do occasionally hear new songs. I found one that I liked and would you believe that I found three different songs that sounded almost identical to the one I liked. I’ve found video games also are looking very much alike. I don’t think there’s as much creativity or talent anymore. I think perhaps computers and equity have crippled and made us lazy.
I like Candace and I think she’s very smart but I do question her direction nowadays. I’m hoping she’s not a fast burning star, like we had with the Tea Party. I understand she’s trying to blaze a trail and develop her brand, she has a plan.
I guess only time will tell.
