Who in their right mind would give Christie 1 penny for a primary run? He has less than zero change of being the republican candidate for President.

I've never missed a November election since I was first eligible to vote. But if,by chance,he's the nominee in ‘24 I'll stay home. Not a chance in hell.
I've got a better chance than chrispy creme.
He's got a better chance of becoming the "Commissioner of Bridge Closings" from NJ to NYC, than getting the gop nod in 2024.

Cruz is different from Pence and Christie. Both Pence and Christie are insiders, who worked the system throughout their political careers. Cruz, like Trump, was an outsider, he took on the annointed GOP candidate, then Lt. Governor David Dewherst, and beat him in a run off.
Christie and Pence, in different ways, do not seem to have the political insight to understand the GOP electorate does not want his brand of insider anymore.
