Poll: Republican Christine Drazan Narrowly Leads Opponents in Deep Blue Oregon

Republican Christine Drazan is closely leading her two left-leaning opponents in the Oregon gubernatorial race, soon before mail-in ballots go out and less than 35 days before the competitive election.

A new Emerson College Polling survey shows former Oregon House Republican leader Drazan ahead of former state House Speaker Tina Kotek (D)–36 percent to 34 percent. Nineteen percent of those polled plan to vote for former Democrat state senator-turned independent Betsy Johnson. The poll was conducted between Sept. 30 – Oct. 1 with 796 very likely Oregon voters. The survey’s Credibility Interval (CI), similar to a margin of error, is ±3.4 percentage points.

Betsy Johnson represents the “Moderate Democrats” and she is splitting the vote.

I actually think the Chamber of Commerce and police unions sick of the Extreme Leftwards direction of Oregon have decided to use the third candidate (Johnson) to get the Republican in so Oregon has a fighting chance of coming back from the grave.

Losertarians are poised to do this to R’s in a number of races as they always do. In PA for example the the Libertarian is sucking about 5% of the vote and it could prove to be the difference. I think Emerson College Polling is rat leaning so we actually have a shot here.

Progressives and losertarians are a major problem nationwide...progressives are busy little beavers in East Tennessee right at the moment...this region will be Vermont within ten years.

It is nice to see the Chamber of Commerce waking up.

It supported Oberlin in a court brief against Gibson Bakery.
It also looked to me like they were neutral in the 2000 Presidental election or actually somewhat pro Biden.

The huge “undecideds” are not “undecided” they are waiting until Election Day to walk their mail in ballots in so the rodents can’t figure out how many fake ballots to manufacture.
THIS is the new formula the Republicans have developed.
It calls for flooding counting places with Republican eyes and ears and holding back the vote until E day then flooding them with bright RED ballots.
Kari Lake did it in her primary against a rino and the rodents that were helping her. Joe Kent did the same thing.
With 30% of voters not accounted for it is most certainly happening in this race as well.

Wonder why most all polls shown by “The Hill” have democrats leading...

Most polls shown by Breitbart have republicans leading....

I hope you are right, for Oregon’s sake, but it would require a level of rationality not seen there for some time.

The three-way split opens the door for the Republican earlier this year the original plan was to run ‘moderate’ Nicholas Kristof columnist for the “New York Times” as a Democrat.

But the Left challenged Kristof on his Oregon residency and won.

That opened the door for this third candidate and the splitting of the vote to allow a GOP win.

This will end up as a win from Drazan 45%-35% in a 3-candidate race.

And when the time comes Betsy will have her voters go for Kotek. There is no way in hell the democrats let Drazan win. It is fun to fantasize though, Portland will burn to the ground with violence. The Willamette river will run grey with the brain matter of exploded heads in Salem.

Will Oregon elect R in the state Senate and house?

Unfortunately, no. The Senate and House districts are so gerrymandered, we just hope the D's don't get a supermajority.
