Lefty Philadelphia DA Larry Krasner says crime is worse in ‘Trump states’ in fiery interview

Lefty Philadelphia District Attorney Larry Krasner claimed violent crime was worse in “Trump states” — as he denied his soft-on-crime policies were to blame for his city’s soaring crime rate.

Krasner’s bold statements came during a fiery interview with Fox29’s “Good Morning Philadelphia” Wednesday, when he was grilled by anchor Mike Jerrick a day after five teens were shot at a high school.

Gavin Newsom said something similar, as to how “red” states had higher murder rates than found in “blue” states such as California.

So apparently, the liberal view is, that we don’t discuss the problems of liberal Democrat cities or states, instead, we say that Republican led areas are worse. ok then......

It’s comical to see this new spin where libs blame crime on “red states” and not those solid blue islands within them.

It’s possible that this is a valid statement. Newsome said the same thing about California last year. Something along the lines of ‘crime has dropped in California’….
He neglected to say that their D.A.s stopped charging criminals. Thus the crime drop. That might be at play in the red States (they actually charge criminals, as opposed to the blue States), or it is the blue cities in the Red States that are responsible for the crimes.

All the while purposely and blatantly not mentioning the Leftist progressive run cities/urban areas within those those alleged ‘Trump states’ being the prime culprits of the ‘crime is worse’ in them there ‘Trump states’.........

He failed to point out that the high crime in red states is concentrated in democrat run cities within those states.

That’s likely correct. We don’t let people go nearly as quickly, either, especially for violent crimes, I expect.

He knows his political base, which has absolutely no interest in facts. He just imagines a reality, then articulates it. Ignorance is strength.

Governors have no daily on-the-ground local law enforcement powers aside from sending in the State Police or the National Guard.

But don’t let facts get in the way of a good obfuscation Larry…

Didn't provide any proof, of course, only his loud opinion, which is dead wrong.

“I don’t,” Krasner shot back, before launching into an argument whose main thrust was that he won re-election in 2021 in a landslide, suggesting that the people of the city — especially those living in high-crime areas — support his policies.

Well, see - here's the problem: Stupid voters - despite rampant voter fraud - continue to vote for the likes of Krasner, who is making their lives FAR less safe.

He’s part right. Take MO, which is a peaceful red state with two blue kill zones in it.

And there is ignorance of the fact, that a statewide crime rate blunts the impact of higher crime rates of big cities within those states.

Does Pennsylvania have a higher crime rate than Tennessee or Missouri? I don’t know the answer to that. But you can’t realistically discuss without noting differences between crime in Philadelphia vs. Danville, Memphis vs. Shelbyville, St. Louis vs. Joplin, etc. etc.

High crime in red states is concentrated in Democrat run cities in EVERY state.

I’ve seen statistics that, if you take away young black male crime, the USA is about the safest country in the entire world. Most crime in Democrat run cities is by young black males.
