The United States will not be able to stop Israel from retaliating against Lebanon if Hezbollah decides to attack it over the Karish gas field, US Secretary of State Antony Blinken reportedly told the Lebanese prime minister in a recent meeting.
According to Saudi media reports, Blinken told Prime Minister Najib Mikati that even if Hezbollah only demonstrates a small show of force, Washington will not be able to stop Israel.

Why does Israel need America’s permission to defend itself? Dumber and dumber. America, after the “woke” treatment of the military, probably can’t even defend itself!
Isn’t Hezbollah sending thousands of Troops to Tehran to kill civilians there? They have a lot on their plate.
Around 40 years ago I had a job where the Lebanon troubles were a topic. I was interested when I read that there were oil or gas reserves off their shore in the Mediterranian. Not long after I was also interested to see that there were oil or gas reserves off the coast of Vietnam. Decided then that most of our recent wars have been over gas and oil reserves as they currently are in Ukraine and Crimea.
I just saw a FR post about 4,000 Lebanese being sent to Iran to contain the protesters. Perhaps Israel could help a bit by bombing the place in Iran where those nasty drones are being made that are now hurting Ukraine’s troops.
Here is an idea. Maybe Hezbollah should stop attacking Israel. Then Israel would stop retaliating. Pretty simple.
There has been speculation that Russia will use proxies like Hezbollah to attack this Israeli energy project because it can supply Europe.

Why would we want to stop Israel? Every war Israel fights is for its very existence, which is always overlooked by other countries in discussions about Palestine and Israel’s response. Almost every Islamic nation has sworn to kill every man, woman and child in Israel, especially the Palestinians and Iran. Would our southern border be open to Mexico if they vowed to annihilate every living American, and were dedicated to that end to death and if they were firing rockets into Southern California and Texas?

Eze 38:23 Thus will I magnify myself, and sanctify myself; and I will be known in the eyes of many nations, and they shall know that I [am] the Lord.
At this point, what difference does it make. Blinken, Biden and Harris can’t make mud out of sand anyway. Even Nancy Pelosi shopping in Taipei is more effective than the lot of them.
