Yep..it was 54° here in Charlotte when I woke up this AM...and we’re packing for Myrtle Beach!
Also assuming they’ll let you charge your car overnight. I can easily see some implementation of even/odd day rationing.
I’ve noticed a lot more EV parking and charging stations strategically placed in parking areas. Like right next to handicap parking. The rest of us army of peasants and pissants are forced further and further from the front door.
So I’m gonna buy a (dirt cheap) used EV, gut it, and install a hemi. Then I’ll help myself to all of the special parking - and leave the hemi idling for good measure ;’}

Ford is committed to keep building cars with real motors for longer than the others. Don’t buy the battery crap.
I actually drove that stretch in 2014. I remember Austin. I got gas there, and they only wanted bills with denominations of no more than 20 dollars — I guess visitors are scarce. And afterward, heading east, the road wound round and round a large hillside, putting me in danger of going off the edge. Fortunately, I maintained control and survived to reach Ely.
I spent 6 years in the desert starting up 3 plants.

My Suburban takes 3-4 minutes to fill the tank, and that big V8 runs on 87 gas.

More and more apt’s are putting in charging stations.
Waiting for the roving armed criminal gangs to start taking advantage of people sitting in long lines in their electric cars in order to charge them. Sitting ducks literally.

yeah well- there are issues with electric vehicles that will cause issues with the charging system and holding charges- so yeah=- it’s not all about the operator- but thanks for response-
