The late-blooming 2022 Atlantic Tropical Storm season is making up for lost time. A tropical system has developed in the Central Caribbean Sea. This storm system is forecast to threaten continental U.S. interests next week. While the tropical wave passed south of a key geographic area known as Hebert's Box #1, it will very likely pass through Hebert's Box #2. These boxes are useful as predictors of hurricanes that will strike South Florida. For more information about Hebert's Boxes, see Hebert Box. See graphic below which illustrated the Hebert's Boxes.

I bought a set of solar lights from Sam’s Club it was a pack of 6 for $20 and it’s a bit more higher end than the dollar store cheap ones. It has removable 3.7v 18650 cells and there is an on/off switch, so it can still collect solar rays and then not discharging since it is turned off. I did this a day or 2 before the storm. Brought 2 of them inside last night and it worked great.
What’s the brand and capacity of that solar powered battery bank?

Sarasota & Naples evacuated.
40 miles north of Orlando had battened down the hatches - generator ready to go, plenty of food, beer & toilet paper, lake on the edge of their property should not reach the house, even if they get the predicted 22” of rain. Their biggest threat is probably a tornado.
Folks who live on their sailboat in Jacksonville just happen to be visiting in the Annapolis MD area, so they’re good.
We should get updates today from FL family, if they have cell and/or internet - if we don’t hear, not worrying too much because the west coasters evacuated.
Lee Co Sherriff said it on GMA; Fox then said he said it could be up to hundreds of fatalities.
