A new peer-reviewed study found that regular use of ivermectin reduced the risk of dying from COVID-19 by 92%.
The large study was conducted by Flávio A. Cadegiani, MD, MSc, PhD. Cadegiani is a board-certified endocrinologist with a master's degree and doctorate degree in clinical endocrinology.
The peer-reviewed study was published on Wednesday by the online medical journal Cureus. The study was conducted on a strictly controlled population of 88,012 people from the city of Itajaí in Brazil.
Individuals who used ivermectin as prophylaxis or took the medication before being infected by COVID experienced significant reductions in death and hospitalization.
According to the study, those who took ivermectin regularly had a 92% reduction in their COVID death risk compared to non-users and 84% less than irregular users.
"The hospitalization rate was reduced by 100% in regular users compared to both irregular users and non-users," the study stated.
The impressive reduction for regular ivermectin users was evident despite the regular users being at a higher risk for COVID deaths. The regular users were older and had a higher prevalence of type 2 diabetes and hypertension than irregular and non-users.

“Cheap, too, and truly is “safe and effective”!”
Not cheap post-Covid. Quite expensive. But safe and effective. It worked for me.
Any fool could figure this out…..
All you had to do is look at death rates in countries with malaria….
I can not spell and I figured it out…
“All you had to do is look at death rates in countries with malaria….”
Definitely. Hubby wouldn’t take it — fell for the “horse medicine” line. He got sick on a Thursday and I got sick on Sunday. I took Ivermectin but he didn’t. I was much better before he was.
Why not take the tablets? You can get them in 3, 6 and 12 mg dosages.
FALSE: Independent fact checkers have determined that 8% of those who use Ivermectin die of COVID.
At the time I got the horse paste, there was still a lot of hassle getting tablets. I hope I never need the stuff anyway.
Gas_Dr is busy training to be a common sense Jedi. He’s in the very early stages, we must not disturb him. Shhhhhhh... Hear that?
“Ivermectin is effective
Shot is ineffective
Effective is Ivermectin
ineffective is shot
Finkel is Einhorn
Einhorn is Finkel

Einhorn is Finkel
Finkel is Einhorn
Einhorn is Finkel”
Scratch another off the list....
Indeed. I knew when I saw footage of countries taking it off the shelves at stores.
I knew for absolute sure when we weren’t allowed to talk about it.
It was undeniable when no one was allowed to study it.
Self medicating is SCARY.
Self medicating with something that comes from a hardware store and has a picture of a horse on it is TERRIFYING.
At least the first time. I was shaking. After I survived that, it was no big deal.
WOW!
I was pretty sure it was made up. I remember spacing out at the grocery store, then pondering how the cashier was touching everyone’s stuff. By the time I got home I had likely done the biological equivalent of licking everyone in my small town’s index finger.
Apologies if anyone was eating...
Someone posted that on twitter or something but if go to NIH website I couldn’t find that it said ivermectin recommended- it still says not recommended there
LOL! That “horse paste” might give some second thoughts.
A few weeks before we got sick, my sister had scored some Ivermectin through a site in India. So it was pills for me.
I just got another supply to hoard for “just in case”. Luckily, our pharmacist in town (TN) is ready and able to dispense. He’ll sell the typical pills. It’s a compounding pharmacy so will sell compounded Ivermectin, too, which is about half the price.
Thanks for the question.
I am trying to find the actual study because blaze tends to have an agenda. That being said there are a couple things worth noting. It is not talking about it as a freshener. Rather a prophylaxis.
It is impressive if accurate but please it says dose dependence. It also says regular users over a period of time. I would like to know why regular users. Is there some other coincidence with this that may confer prophylaxis
It also is silent on de novo treatment. So anyone who is saying it can be used as a treatment without dose dependent prophylaxis is incorrect
Let’s assume the study is valid and holds (although there is some criticism I have is the large Group. It is. It strictly controlled as the article says). Or prevents hospitalization and death. Ok. It doesn’t tell us when the study was conducted. If retrospective only during omicron it is not impressive as there is also 100% non hospitalization with omicron.
If during delta, then it acted as the vaccination in terms of preventing critical illness and death.
Bottom line. Lots of details. Generally when I see something reported in Kay press i often find the results are more agenda driven. But conferring the benefit of the doubt, if correct it is an interesting result as to the prophylaxis but not treatment of IVM
Please stop spreading the lie about it works well in late stages. I absolutely does not work in late stages. Please also note this study shows prophylaxis not treatment.
No gas dr was busy enjoying a Saturday off and taking in a football game. Don’t worry I am here now to make sure that the artist information is interpreted correctly. See above posts.
Glad to live rent free in your head.
I would love to see that lawsuit. It would not go well for plaintiff. Please explain on what grounds a malpractice action could be brought?
If you, or Prager actually did the legal analysis of the case, it would be impossible to bring this action.
Fixed it.

We have used it in late stages with excellent results. It takes longer but it absolutely works. We have cured over 30 people using it and a half a dozen were either in the hospital or going at late stages.
Aren’t you the one who has been saying the Vax is safe and ivermectin doesn’t work for the last 2 years Dr gasbag?
