The strain of polio in New York is identical to a strain found in Israel. The media are being very cagey about it, but it appears this new polio outbreak originated in New York’s Jewish (ultra)Orthodox community, many of whom have not rec’d the usual vaccines. Similarly, NY’s earliest Covid outbreak was among Jews who had attended an annual conference, the big AIPAC get-together if I remember correctly. It quickly spread to the wider NY Jewish community, then to the NY general public.
I don’t know how many times I’ve seen a FReeper predict outbreaks of polio among other diseases in the last five years and for the reason of letting invaders invade. Seriously it’s old hat.

Polio is now a third world disease. It lives in feces and polluted water. Most people from the third world don't use toilet paper. They use their hand to wipe their anus, and then rinse the hand off or wipe it with a rag (which is reused).
To make matters worse, third world beings often eat from a communal bowl. They don't use utensils, but they dip their hand or a piece of bread into this bowl. Any residual fecal matter is spread to all who partake of the food, thus spreading disease, including polio.
To make matters worse, these primitive people refuse to be vaccinated against polio for superstitious reasons. When these beings end up in New York, they light a fuse, a fuse for disaster.
