Charles III.......................
His full name is Charles Philip Arthur George. He can choose any one of them as his royal name. He doesn't need to choose to be called King Charles, and may not want that since Charles II was a Stuart.

Me too.
Just two nights ago I started watching The Crown. Last night when I was watching it, Queen Elizabeth was crowned. Now, today she died. It is weird.

I will be watching to see if Harry gets relegated to the lesser Royals during the funeral.
Boris probably hacked off this happened after he had to resign.

The Queen is dead, long live the king. Best of Luck Charles at a time when England faces challenges at home and abroad. She did well. Rest in Peace.

Reigning as Philip I would be a lovely tribute to his father who served the monarch and monarchy for decades.

Although the name remains Windsor, this is rhe end of the House of Saxe-Coburg Gotha, and the beginning of the House Of Mountbatten.

Yes, Edward VIII was previously known as David, and his brother who became George Vi was previously known as Bertie, short for Albert. The royals have more than a first and middle name from which to take as their royal name.
