See Post #21. Did you find the same thing I mentioned?

“Errors”
My backside.
Beat me to it. Census is a Leftist jobs program, and they leverage it to the fullest corruptibility possible.
I have never met a conservative census worker. Ever.
Good gosh. Were you a “Census Worker”?
I have never met one like you.
And you! Two on one thread!
Never thought I would meet a conservative census worker, and now...two of them!
Schedule a new census for 2025 and do it right. An interim census has been done before, in 1885. Two years should be sufficient time for the census bureau to prepare an interim census.
The 2020 census was executed by the Trump administration. The census bureau is part if the commerce department which was led by Wilber Ross, a private equity investor appointed hy Trump. Ross is a Trump friend who helped Trump with financing in the 1990’s. He was not a McConnell pick.
Perhaps Wilber Ross and the census director should be called before a Congressional investigative hearing to determine why they failed.
I saw a flyer on Newbury Street in Boston back when the census was gearing up, and I recall it was $25+ an hour. (I recall $27, but could be wrong...)
Good to know. Another trick is writing an inefficient long string of code to process data when it could be done with just a few lines of code.
This “irregularities” are all part of the action plan to fundamentally change the U.S. Obama changed the federal government organization chart by bringing the census gathering function under the jurisdiction of the White House, having transferred the function from its historical place under the Commerce Dept.
Why Obama Wants Control of the Census.”

There were clearly plans to
weaponize the census to overrepresent those federally counted Obama’s handlers wanted overrepresented. There are many ways to manipulate the census process - from the questions asked and those not asked, to dropping questions that have been historically vital for historical study, economic infrastructure and economic and social history and family history. They also stopped asking key questions, so that that data would never get gathered or known or be provable or disprovable.
Ever notice that every “mistake” benefits the democrats?
Maybe its time for the red states to collect taxes for the federal govt., spend the federal “grant” money and federal mandates first then send whats left over to DC. Oh wait, there wouldn’t be anything left over.
Funny coincidence – the Census made its largest overcount percentage error in President Joe Biden’s tiny home state of Delaware, which was overcounted by 5.45%.
Although it would have some effect on the rest of the states, Delaware with a pop of 973,764, only has one Representative and will only have one for a very long time.
“Census is a Leftist jobs program, and they leverage it to the fullest corruptibility possible.”
For instance, U.S. librarians volunteer their libraries to be advertised, official places where people can register to vote and often places where people actually vote. Are new Americans and non-English-speaking Americans and other new voters unofficially influenced in choosing a political party and candidates?
““There is no remedy in the federal statutes governing the census and apportionment to correct this problem. The scope of this problem was unusually high, and the Census Bureau has not offered any explanation as to how this happened.”
Sure there is. It is a constitutionally mandated process. It cannot be done fraudulently or with reckless process lest it become void. This can be explored in a lawsuit and ruled on by the Supreme court.
Now you have.
Two.
In the hinterland, the decennial Census is the Square Deal.
We're pretty professional about it.
I was an "embed" that they didn't know about. :)
The data stuff that I mentioned above came from very high up. I've worked in IT centers, and rolling out a data set that I described would be a decision way, way above lots of pay grades.
The people in the first three or four levels that I dealt with were very apolitical. I actually knew a supervisor three or four levels above me that became a Republican staffer for a US House member after the 2010 Census.
Good man, that one.
Excellent point.
