Bed Bath & Beyond exec Gustavo Arnal didn’t say a word to his wife before apparently leaping to his death from their swank, 18th-floor apartment in Lower Manhattan, The Post has learned. Arnal, 52, also didn’t leave a note explaining the plunge, which occurred while his wife was in the home with him around 12:20 a.m. Friday, law-enforcement sources said Sunday.

Yes it is very sad he committed suicide. But I guess he wanted to save his family and himself the trouble of going through a trial.

The prior CFO was hired in 2019 and he was hired in 2020. The prior CFO new something wasn't right or they asked her to do something she wanted no part of.

That is exactly my first thought. My father used to tell me when I was a kid of how the millionaires in the Great Depression jumped from the skyscrapers.

(2) I read a comprehensive book about suicide, it focused especially on how families and friends are forever scarred by suicide of a loved one. The book is based on facts, statistics, and actual case histories. The author said most of the time the person who commits suicide does NOT leave a note—and if he/she does leave a note, the note usually creates MORE confusion/questions/mysteries than it solves.
Guy prob knew she’d try and stop him and he was so desperate he just wanted to end it all.
So sad for the family left behind.
