Why do the Marines have their hands in front of them? I was in the Marine Corps and do not recognize it at all.

I’m not sure why the Marines have their hands folded in front of them.
Marine Corps Landing party manual was updated, not too long ago.
Anyone have a copy. That’s the reg for the manual of arms. Which include movements with or without weapons.
