Sen. Warren ‘very worried’ the Federal Reserve ‘is going to tip this economy into recession’

Sen. Elizabeth Warren, D-Mass., said Sunday she’s "very worried" that measures taken by the Federal Reserve to tame inflation are going to put "millions" of Americans out of work.

During an appearance on CNN’s "State of the Union," Warren said she’s concerned that the Fed’s continued raising of interest rates could "tip" the country into a recession.

"I am very worried about this, because the causes of inflation, things like the fact that COVID is still shutting down parts of the economy around the world, that we still have supply chain kinks, that we still have a war going on in Ukraine that drives up the cost of energy and that we still have these giant corporations that are engaging in price gouging," she said.

I probably should thank Senator Warren. She’s sort of like a wind vane telling me the direction of the wind. If she’s pointing one direction on an issue, without thinking, I know to go the other direction.

She’s not worried about inflation that is the most regressive tax on the poor and middle class.

But blames it on big business which did just fine under Trump.
Question: Why didn’t big business get greedy under Trump’s administration which loosened the regulations but waited till the Biden administration to rise prices but has more desire to regulate?

Questions no liberal has the answer form

We’re deeply mired in a recession. The Democrats fiscal policy of spending until America’s broken is a smashing success. Next up, DEPRESSION.

Economically, of course to go with most people’s psychological reaction to this unending recklessness. The American Dream is dead.

Needs repeating, we are already in a recession, even with the governments efforts to cook the books. Warren is an economic buffoon.

its going to take a bit more than a couple of points

She is not stupid, my good FRiend. A lot of the lefties are pretty smart.

That said, they are unquestioningly obedient to their leftwing political cult, and furiously intolerant of opposing views (even though we have a few centuries of clear proof that Traditional American values and form of government are far, far superior to anything else.)

Shift the blame from the majority house and senate and of course the main reason the USA is economically FUBAR’d; the illegitimate biden admin and all the nonsense they’ve pulled since being installed like turds in a punch bowl.

Plus we’ve been in a recession for weeks. Almost a month.

Even so I am an optimist by nature in this case I have some serious doubt as I have a feeling the US is heading down the same road as Argentina where poor politics, corruption and graft has gotten the best of them and this cycle is not easily broken, as it is part of a mindset which took years to develop. The chains of habit are too weak to be felt until they become too strong to be broken!

For curiosity sake the current rate of inflation in Argentina is around 70 % and shows no sign of abating, in other words they have not gotten their act together yet and neither has the US.

Even if we elect a president who may have the right ideas for attempting to get this country back onto the right track it only may slow the descent on to the trash heap of history of a once great country. So far there has been no known great country in history which has escaped this cycle.
