One theory on Ancient Aliens was aliens have the power to disrupt and change our true event memories. Start with “I saw the alien ships land and the aliens got out and abducted people.” and the next day your memory is “I never saw a UFO and don’t believe in them.”
Even today there are hypnosis enhancing drugs and the horrible date rape drugs rapists give to women in their drinks. No true memory of what happened for court testimony.

When you have different news outlets, you must give the outlet what they want to hear in order for them to continue coming back to you with money for your opinion. 🙂
Tell it one way to one audience, opposite to the other. Most people watch news for confirmation bias, so Dersh gets a share of each. Like a politician.
