The daughter of an ultranationalist Russian ideologue believed to have had a strong influence on Vladimir Putin has been killed in a car bomb on the outskirts of Moscow, according to multiple media reports. Darya Dugin, daughter of Russian political commentator Alexander Dugin – dubbed “Putin’s brain” – died when the Toyota Land Cruiser she was driving was ripped apart by a powerful explosion about 20km west of the capital at around 9.30pm local time. The blast occurred near the village of Bolshiye Vyazemy, according to Russian media sites Baza and 112, and state-owned Novaya Gazeta. Witnesses said debris was thrown all over the road as the car was engulfed in flames before crashing into a fence, according to reports. Emergency services said there had been one person in the car and that they died at the scene. Andrey Krasnov, a friend of Dugina and the head of the Russian Horizon social movement, confirmed the reports, according to the news agency Tass. He said that the bomb could have been intended for her father.

The man was targeted for assassination for being Putin’s brain.

Which is a complete fiction created by the West for propaganda purposes.

Alexander Dugin has never worked for or associated with President Putin.

FSB did it to justify harsher attacks in Ukraine. Heavier weapons. Putin is losing this war and he wants to step it up. There’s no way the Ukrainian government made this attack in Moscow.

In 1916 nobles loyal to the Czar got rid of Grigori Rasputin.

My guess is in this case the Russian FSB tried to get rid of Alexander Dugin.

I found an article I had previously seen about 7 suicide/murders this year that were very suspicious. One was in Spain another in Englind. Including family members, 13 are dead. In 3 cases wives and children were vicously killed by knife or axe. Several were killed soon after the 2/24 Ukraine invasion. Several were connected with banks and/or oil business, and very rich. I am only listing this link but there were a number of others at the Google site on recent suicides and murders of Russian oligarchs. This current incident could certainly be connected to revenge rather than Ukraine.

I don’t see how that’s relevant.

Dugin, Zhirinovsky and Putin all shared the same philosophy. Dugin just popularized it for the masses.

Putin fancies himself as a philosophical and intellectual leader, hence his long essays on Russian and Ukrainian shared history while so many of the people he surrounded himself with are gung ho for annexations and grinding down the untermensch.

They read Zhirinovsky and Dugin, not Putin. So consider the ramifications if the Putin camp is a bit worried that the all out haters of all things Ukrainian are on the verge of taking over. They’ve also got supporters in the media, and heavy industry.

Putin’s physically weak and the “nuke the bastards” pro-genocide sharks are circling.

“That’s quite perverted logic. Why a person upset with war needs to target the obscure historian better known in the West than at home? A person upset with war is likely a pacifist and they aren’t killing people.”

Dugin has been a big proponent of invading Ukraine for years and years. It’s not at all illogical for someone to send a message to Putin - who they can’t get to - by blowing up someone they can get to who has the same views. We couldn’t get to Castro (God knows we tried) but we sure got Che. We couldn’t get to Ghadaffi in the 80s but we sure killed his daughter. And he got the message and stayed away from us for decades.

Here is a 2 minute audio/visual of Dugin, in his own words, comparing Trump and Putin and their possibility of working together to create a “new world order.” This video is then followed by another one debunking charges that Ukraine has been damaging the nuclear plant by bombing it.

There are many other links on Dugin, old and now (regarding his daughter’s death). I am only linking this one as it provides some interesting Russian propaganda sources for those wishing to keep track of current Russian thinking. Lots to find if you Google “Alexander Dugan and Putin relationship.” Be sure to seek links beyond Google’s page 1. Putin has definitely been seeking to implement Dugan’s idea of promoting power of the Russian Orthodox Church, defeating sea powers Great Britain and US, and creating a great country, Eurasia, spreading from Dublin to Vladivostok.

People are much more likely to read a link if some information about its content is also included. Especially, if the link itself gives no clues to content as with this link.

This is exactly the type of regurgitated nonsense that the British neo-liberal elites are so adept at spinning and their domestic audience of 'loyal subjects' are so conditioned to imbibing.

Talk about not being relevant...American nationalists are well advised to avoid exposure to this kind of bleating as it does not serve America's interest, nor is it intended to.

Dmitri Alperovitch
@DAlperovitch

#Dugin assassination updates:

- Reports that surveillance cameras in the parking lot near the explosion had been disabled for last 2 weeks
- Car was owned by Daria, not Dugin
- Bomb was under driver’s seat

Looks like a professional hit and she may have been the target after all

Not cool—ramp up of the war. Putin may well target children of the powerful— If a bomb takes out Hunter Biden we will know who done it.

You display an profound level of cognitive dissonance here, considering Trump himself campaigned for President in 2016 on the notion of rapprochement with Russia.

You might as well be presenting evidence that Dugin is Trump's brain...a topic not dissimilar to what the deep state has spent the last 7 years gaslighting the West about.😒

Then again...

Russia’s National Republican Army claims responsibility for the killing of Dugin’s daughter. https://t.co/rop7VDAZ7o
