Cook Political Report shifts Pennsylvania Senate race to ‘lean Democrat’
The Hill ^ | 08/18/22 9:34 AM ET | BY CAROLINE VAKIL

The nonpartisan Cook Political Report is changing its rating of Pennsylvania’s Senate race from a “toss up” to “lean Democrat” fewer than three months before the November midterms.

The development comes against the backdrop of the social media campaign that Democratic candidate John Fetterman has waged against opponent Mehmet Oz (R) that has sought to portray the celebrity as a carpetbagger from New Jersey who is out of touch with voters.

Fetterman’s campaign has enlisted big New Jersey names like former “Jersey Shore” cast member Nicole “Snooki” LaValle and musician Steven Van Zandt to troll the celebrity doctor while raising funds off of an April video in which Oz mispronounces the name of a regional grocery store while speaking to voters about inflation as he shops for crudité ingredients

What a disaster. 2022 was supposed to be a red tsunami.

I live outside Philly and have worked all over the central parts of PA. (Pennsyltucky)
Oz is going to lose big.
Trump screwed up by endorsing Oz.

Obviously none of the agenda-driven pollsters actually watched the disastrous Fetterman rally last week. I often say the voting hordes get what they deserve well they most certainly would be putting another vegetable in DC.

“What a disaster. 2022 was supposed to be a red tsunami.”

Republicans are gutless cowards and don’t know how to fight. So, I was wondering what gave you the impression they had a backbone and could win anything?

Oz is not a great choice but he was on Hannity last nite and started punching back; there’s a lot to punch with Fetterman, a hard core leftist who will push Biden’s agenda. Don’t give up yet; there is always a lot of defeatism on this forum. The “Press” told us what a horrible candidate Reagan was against Mr. Peanut, at one point he was down 20 points and look at the landslide result that sent that miserable man back to Plains.

The left is just preparing the big steal. Polls gotta show a close race beforehand so the fraud does not APPEAR so flagrant.

Turning up the steal margins. They cheat polling they cheat getting their votes in and they cheat counting the vote.
Instead of popular vote a county by county state electorial process is needed in each state for multicounty offices to assure that a rat hole cannot 2020 us again.
Fixing 2020 has to be done!

Giving up has nothing to do with it. I’m presenting what I think is going to happen. N=1 is useless statistically.
I influence nobody, so what I say doesn’t really matter.
FR doesn’t have that many PA people, and everyone that is a PA FReeper is intelligent enough to do what they want.

I don’t disagree with you; Oz ain’t a great candidate and as of now, it looks like he will lose and lose big. But Donald Rumsfeld said one intelligent thing in his career - “you fight with the Army you have”. And whatever his faults, Oz is our army and this battle is of extreme importance to save the country from the Democrats, who have evolved into communists.

Especially so in Pennsylvania, there the Democrat is a feeble and sickly person, likely not to even serve out a full term before he is so disabled he will be unable to attend sessions or even be on the floor very much. I suppose The Powers That Be think is is OK for him to phone in his vote and contributions to debate.

If elected, the Democrat shall be only able to act as an echo chamber for the Bernie Sanders wing of the Democrat Socialists.

If nothing else, Dr. Oz should be hammering away at the prospect of the opponent’s state of health.

Yes, Dr Azz puts up an ad on Twitter where he gets the name of his PA grocery store wrong (Wegmans) and complains about the high cost of ingredients to make crudite.

He is really focused on the issues.

Shrek does not have a chance. PERIOD.

Pennsylvania is rolling to the right. The gap between registered Democrat/communists and Republicans is closing rapidly.

Consider these headlines and ask yourself which one is THE one that will make Pennsylvania say “Yeah we want Shrek to be our next Senator!”

“Do you believe [biological males] should be allowed to play on women’s sports team at the youth through college level?” JOHN FETTERMAN: “Yes.”

John Fetterman in 2013: ‘I Did the Right Thing’ Pulling Gun on Unarmed Black Jogger

When serving on the Pennsylvania Board of Pardons, Fetterman said his job was to “get as many folks out as we can.”

John Fetterman is not okay.

Shrek is the most radical candidate in the country (John Fetterman Pennsylvania) and he doesn’t stand a chance against Oz.

Over all try this one from the head of the Democrat Congressional Campaign Committee:

This won’t be a “toss up or a leans Democrat - it will be a “Clean up in aisle six!”

Fetterman is a Marxist thug who ran his city into the ground as mayor. His parents still support him & his family so he can be mayor in the first place. And he just had a stroke a few months ago and can barely put a sentence together. If this is who Pennsylvania chooses as their leader, they deserve what they get. 😖

Maybe he needs to fire his consultants. I’m fairly educated and I can’t even remember the last time I ate crudités, let alone made them. 🤦‍♀️
