Far out! Groovy! Good to see ya, Sis!
It was some nasty stuff in a jar...peanut butter and various jellies...that I would never put in my mouth. LOL! Of course, we just gave it away to the rest of the quiz takers. LOL!
The little I watched TV back then, I can’t argue with ya on that. LOL
It was a pretty dull decade but we did get some good hard rock bands .... Led Zeppelin, Black Sabbath, Queen, and more. David Bowie hit the scene with his ever-changing music styles. Music was where the fun was.
Well, some of the music was good. Most of it was awful. But not as bad as the 80s music. LOL
“Not really a “fan” of the seventies but those were my high school and college years.”
Me, too.
Too many kids’ candy questions. Should have had more “Rastafari”, “Faber College”, and “Breaker, breaker” questions.
10-4 good buddy.
Heeeeeeeeyyyy! The ‘80s music was the most fun. LOL Then grunge reared its head and music went downhill for the most part from the ‘90s on. Like the ‘70s, there’s some good stuff but overall .... no thanks.
Rap ruined music. Period.
Rap isn’t music. It’s just ugly racket. I’ll listen to country before I’ll listen to rap, and I can’t stand country music.
But everyone likes different stuff and variety is the spice of life. :-)
It is, but I don’t like country either except in very small doses. it gives me a headache. All that whining. LOL!
Would you believe it’s only 72 degrees here? It hasn’t been this cool since April. LOL!
WOW! 72??? That must feel almost frigid to y’all. LOL
It’s 66 here at the moment after a high of only 77 today. I thought we might get a drip or two of rain but it didn’t quite make it over this far. Just thick clouds.
First off yesterday at Chisolm Trail Park:
On the 70's pop culture quiz I also got 8 out of 10. I was coming of age during that time BTW.
How's everyone doing this morning?
Howdy, E.G.C. ((HUGZ))
It looks like you and Gizmo covered a lot of ground at Chisolm Trail Park yesterday. It was a pretty day for it.
I was 10 in 1970. I remember Koogle from when I lived in Topeka Kansas and Dover Delaware.
Almost forgot, !0 out of 10 for me.
I don’t know where it’s coming from, but I’m lovin’ it. LOL! We have more chances of rain later this week. Since it’s “planned” it probably won’t happen. The rain we had today was totally out of the blue.
Your high was 77? That’s great! Did the humidity ruin it or was it cool enough to where it still didn’t feel that bad?
Guess I’d better finish this show and head out. See ya tomorrow!
Enjoy it while it’s there! Fingers crossed for more rain this week.
We have slight chances but that usually means nothing here. Might get a sprinkle or two but nothing significant. The nice thing as they still say we’re staying below 90 for the next week at least.
Yes, it was humid today but it didn’t feel bad because it was so cool. Back to the 80s tomorrow and that will feel steamy.
Just finished washing all the wood furniture with Murphy’s. Catching my breath for a minute before tackling the before-bed duties, then I’ll be following your lead and hitting the pillows. Catch ya tomorrow.
Yes - Winning the games with annoying regularity!
