As Texas becomes a hotbed of anti-LGBTQ laws targeting transgender youth and their families, Bob McCranie, a gay realtor in Dallas, has launched Flee Texas, a website that helps families find homes in more accepting states.
“As LGBTQIA+ citizens of Texas, many of us feel at risk,” the website says. “If you feel the need to leave the jurisdiction of Texas, let us help you sell your property here and connect you with an LGBTQIA or ally agent in a better location of your choice.”
The website helps poeple sell their homes and connects them with LGBTQ and supportive realtors in other states.
McCranie, the founder of Texas Pride Realty, has been a resident of Texas since 1987. Since then, he said he has seen the state “transform into a juggernaut of right-wing conservatism,” particularly noting its recent crusade to prosecute the families of transgender children who get access to gender-affirming medical care for “child abuse.”

Anything to help LGBTQ Texans flee the state is another great thing about Texas.
Wouldn’t it be interesting if realtors in red states did similar but only helping Christians and/or conservatives? Help them sell houses in blue states and find houses in red states. Maybe the right leaning ones and the gay ones can help customers do house exchanges.

Now they’ve added the NUMBER 2, which refers to “2 Spirit”, what American Indians called people with the “spirit” of a man and of a woman. So they’ve gone beyond just adding letters.

there was a line in the sit com Soap, where a character from texas told billy crystal’s gay character, we don’t have queers in texas, least not live ones.

No bias in that article. Because Texas lawmakers want to make sure children aren’t mutilated, they are “anit-gay”? Puh-lease.
That’s the liberal view. I remember when Jen Psaki was still at the White House, she said how trans surgeries and hormone treatments were “best practices”, and she threatened states which were passing laws to ban such treatments on minors.
