Large corporations and very wealthy are already being audited routinely. The lowest quintile have no taxable income so won’t be worth bothering with. That leaves the middle class to pony up hundreds of billions more. Guess who that means. Takes a lot of manpower to extract that kind of money a little at a time.

I have know people who deal with bitcoin, and supposedly the irs taxes them. So one of my buds actually went to the irs because he makes money off bitcoin.
