The former chief editor of the Chinese Communist Party's state tabloid, the Global Times, suggested the country shoot down U.S. Speaker of the House Nancy Pelosi for visiting Taiwan if her plane refuses to divert course.
China's government has warned it will take "forceful measures" if Pelosi visits Taiwan after the Financial Times reported she would travel to the Chinese-claimed island nation next month.
Hu Xijin, former chief editor of the Global Times, called Pelosi's planned visit an "invasion," and suggested shooting down the speaker's plane if U.S. fighter jets escort it to Taiwan.

Hey, is all this dog related talk about Pelosi implying she is a b$#@h? I won't argue with that.
If the end goal is to spread communism from the mainland to Taiwan, should they not actually provide Pelosi with an escort and make sure her visit goes well? Or do deranged communists of different nations not get along?
I still think this is all orchestrated Kabuki Theater, meant to boost the Rats chances in November, which clearly the ChiComs want.
Is there anyway her husband could make a buck off of this?
While I would normally love to see Pelosi get smoked out of the sky, we need to remember she will most likely be flying in a USAF aircraft flown by American servicemembers.
I think that if Pelosi wants to visit Taiwan, she should damn well fly commercial or lease a private jet. Not going to happen, though. She loves sticking the taxpayers with her bills.

I would just send 5 planes with escorts. Lets see how they figure out which one she’s on. If they hit multiple planes wwiii is actively on.
The crews are well trained and can handle the emergency procedures.
