The better plan is for the CIA to kill Zelensky, let the country devolve into chaos and let the Russians clean up the mess. If that is what has to happen to get us out of Ukraine for good, so be it.

We who remember the Vietnam war know that “advisers” is code for boots on the ground.

These “lawmakers” shouldn't whine when the Russians inevitably blow their (the military advisers) heads off.

There is nothing wrong with sending U.S. military advisers to Ukraine. But of course they’ll need a base of operations. And that base must be protected. So we’ll have to send in air support and artillery units as well. And infantry units to secure the area around the base.
Oh, wait. I’ve seen this movie before. And it didn’t end so well. I guess it’s not such a good idea after all.

Suspect US military advisors are already there manning those sophisticated artillery systems and the targeting equipment. They have been far too effective to be crewed by hastily trained Ukrainians,

“bipartisan congressional delegation”
High potential for doing something that is both stupid AND evil. Potential for such a delegation recommending something that is good or smart is about zero.

Most of our aid has been siphoned off and armaments sold on the black market. I say the 44 billion plus we have already sent is enough. If they can’t account for it, screw ‘em. We’ll go bankrupt trying to satisfy the greed of their government.

Why not just send Ukraine a couple of pallets of Gun Free Zone signs to ward off the Russians?
They seem to think they work here in America.
