Former Austin Police Chief Art Acevedo joined KVUE to add context and perspective as a member of law enforcement to the response to the Uvalde shooting.

Well, there is also the Supreme Court ruling that states Law Enforcement does not have a duty / is not required to protect the lives of citizens.
And thus, that’s all the reason needed to justify the 2nd Amendment.
And they tell us we must give up our firearms and rely on the police for our security. And that we have nothing to fear from our government. Molon labe.
The myth of hero law enforcement officer has been exposed.
When the going gets tough, they pee themselves and run away with their tails between their legs.
“add context and perspective”
In FaceBook Fact-Checker speak - Lies that further the leftist agenda
Why did that cop stop to use hand sanitizer? In a high stress high alert situation, why would you take your hands off your weapons when you might need to react instantaneously as events unfold?
No “context” or “perspective” can be used to explain their display of rank cowardice.
His cops murdered a couple in a ginned up SWAT raid on his watch.
“ Well, there is also the Supreme Court ruling that states Law Enforcement does not have a duty / is not required to protect the lives of citizens.”
Blah blah blah
Does it allow those same police to then also block family from saving the victim?

Like the Western movie cowardly sheriff shaking and staring ahead in his office but not facing the criminals as the good guys have to form a vigilante posse to go out and risk their lives.
can the “state” guarantee my safety??....no they can not....case closed...game over....i take care of my own safety...tyvm...
Great point..I watched that several time. Makes no sense.
The safety of the police ALWAYS takes precedence. The Uvalde police were the rule not the exception.
Open the records lets see the communication between the local chief and the feds. Here is where we will find the answers to............. why?
Ya
that’s not my question
For the past month, every thread about this situation includes this stupid point about the ussc having ruled that cops don’t have to do their job protecting people or some irrelevant point
But the problem in Uvalde was that the cops whole not doing their jobs were holding parents at gun point
Not like an old western
So. Stop wasting my time
The cops in Uvalde held every advantage over the lone monster. I’ve yet to a hear a reason for their behavior that makes them look better and not even worse. All that gear, training, and numbers and they hide behind some weird “no obligation” legalism to excuse inaction and restraint? The inmates run the asylum.
