A Columbus man has been charged with impregnating a 10-year-old Ohio girl, whose travel to Indiana to seek an abortion led to international attention following the Supreme Court's decision to overturn Roe v Wade and activation of Ohio's abortion law.
Gershon Fuentes, 27, whose last known address was an apartment on Columbus' Northwest Side, was arrested Tuesday after police say he confessed to raping the child on at least two occasions. He's since been charged with rape, a felony of the first degree in Ohio.
Columbus police were made aware of the girl's pregnancy through a referral by Franklin County Children Services that was made by her mother on June 22, Det. Jeffrey Huhn testified Wednesday morning at Fuentes' arraignment. On June 30, the girl underwent a medical abortion in Indianapolis, Huhn said.

13-14 year old males can also make little girls pregnant (in this case he is over 20). If that had happened in this case would it be a crime under Ohio law? If such a thing happened would the case information about the rapist be sealed? Note that leftists are not extremely concerned with finding the person who did this.

Second, the state AG wasn't briefed on such an egregious felony? He had to learn about it in the news, and then, when he checked, his subordinates hung him out to dry?

Even if the mother did report first, the abortionists are still required to also report to the authorities.

You know - if I was conspiratorially minded, I might suspect that having an illegal, undocumented underclass-at-large would make for a very convenient pool of scapegoats when politically expedience called for one.
The problem with the leftist narrative is that under Ohio law in the case of incest or rape, or danager to life of the mother, abortion is still legal. The democrats are creating the narrative that an abortion was not available or legal in Ohio, but this is simply untrue.
The rest of this sorrid story is that a 10 year old girl was being taken out of state across state lines for an abortion in Indinia.
Apparently there are or no legal notifications by the mother or the abortion providers. If the parents are unaware then those who transported this child, for whatever reason, is trafficking in humans.
If the mother did know then we need to know why they choose to go out of the state of Ohio when abortion was legal. Most likely the mother, embrassed for her child, wanted to keep it from the local news and from the State of Ohio.
There is no foul on the law banning abortions in Ohio because they choose to keep it from the Ohio public record. Thus they on the left create a sensational 10-Year Old Rape Victim!

Forgive me if I still think tbe worst part of this story is that a ten-year’old girl got raped twice by an illegal alien, and not that tbe girl had to go on a long drive with her parents to get abortion pills.
The abortion provider is subject to Indiana, not Ohio, law.
We don’t know tha the story is true, just what’s being reported.
That said if there was a 10 YO raped, if this is indeed the perp, it took them long enough to make an arrest, didn’t it?

The last thing this government wants is a story about a ten year old being raped and impregnated by an illegal. So it seems reasonable to believe that it was being covered up until they couldn’t any longer. The Franklin Country Humane Society does a better job protecting animals than FCCS does children. They believe it is their job to protect parental rights at all cost.
