I don’t understand the problem jealous people have with Gates owning land. Many super wealthy individuals own lots and lots and lots of land.
Land is a hard asset that holds it’s value over time. It can’t be stolen. It may not require much maintenance. Properly selected, it may not be subject to onerous taxation. Having too much cash is a problem easily solved by investing in land
America has virtually endless land. wealthy individuals from all over the world know that and come here to buy that land. American land is one of the safest investments in the whole world.
