Eric Herschmann, a former Trump White House attorney, claims he wrote the handwritten note Cassidy Hutchinson took responsibility for in her testimony to the Jan. 6 Committee.

Eric Herschmann, a former Trump White House attorney, claims he wrote the handwritten note Cassidy Hutchinson took responsibility for in her testimony to the Jan. 6 Committee. Hutchinson testified that it was, in fact, her handwriting, but following the hearing, Herschmann's team disputed those assertions.

A spokesperson for Herschmann told ABC News on Tuesday evening that, "The handwritten note that Cassidy Hutchinson testified was written by her was in fact written by Eric Herschmann on January 6, 2021." They added that, "All sources with direct knowledge and law enforcement have and will confirm that it was written by Mr. Herschmann." In response to the allegations that Hutchinson had lied, the Jan. 6 Committee released a statement of their own. "The committee has done its diligence on this and found Ms. Hutchinson's account of this matter credible," a spokesperson said. "While we understand that she and Mr. Herschmann may have differing recollections of who wrote the note, what's ultimately important is that both White House officials believed that the President should have immediately instructed his supporters to leave the Capitol building." "The note memorialized this, but Mr. Trump did not take that action at the time." During the hearing on Tuesday, Rep. Liz Cheney held up the handwritten note, and asked Hutchinson if it was hers. "That's a note that I wrote at the direction of the chief of staff on Jan. 6, likely around 3:00," Hutchinson responded, adding that it was her handwriting when pressed on the fact that it was written on the chief of staff note card. Hutchinson did not entirely exclude Herschmann from her story, claiming that he suggested an amending the note. A former top aide to Chief of Staff Mark Meadows, Hutchinson said her boss handed her a note card and pen on January 6, and asked her to transcribe a statement for Trump to release as the Capitol riot took place. Herschmann, for his part, has testified to the Jan. 6 Committee on numerous occasions. Herschmann's statement followed the news earlier Tuesday night that two Secret Service agents are reportedly willing to testify that then-President Trump did not lunge at a steering wheel or assault them in an attempt to go to the Capitol during the riot on January 6, 2021 as Hutchingson claimed in her testimony. We don’t know if Trump even argued with anyone at all or wanted to go to the Capitol. I suspect if he wanted to, he would have made it there, one way or another.

I do find it strange that so many who worked for trump end up against him. I can’t think of another president this has occurred. Either he’s a terrible boss or he chooses the worst people to work for him.

My thought were. She’s 25! She looks like a 45 year old divorcée. I can’t believe how old age looked. She’s been ridden hard.

Kelly Ann Conway was on FOX this morning.

She has ridden several times in The Beast and thinks it would be virtually impossible for President Trump to do what they say he did.

I think he made a number of bad choices. He seems to have picked people recommended by others who lived in the Swamp. Hopefully, in his next Administration he will use his own people skills to hire those who can be trusted to implement the MAGA agenda.

Truth no longer matters. It’s all about the game the legacy media plays us with. Modern journalism is all about what they can make enough of the voting public believe is truth. And, with Donald John Trump no lie is too vile for them (the media) to attempt to sell.

Real journalism is dead. Those who actually believe the obligatory praise bestowed upon Democrats, and the obligatory contempt bestowed upon any Republican not named Liz or Mitt, are becoming fewer and fewer. Someday the media will figure this out, if they haven’t already.

I think it's more of a case that by necessity, there are many who worked in his administration that were part of the entrenched establishment, or who aspire to remain in that group. They are not loyal to the cause of making America great again, but are only loyal to a long career in politics. People like Hutchinson latch onto the current power, and when it seems like the winds have shifted, they switch thinking it will help them in the long run. And, by the looks of the media and permanent political class, they are probably right. Disloyalty in politics is not a career ender because the other side is always welcoming to traitors.

I think its more likely she got a false promise of a great job working for a high-ranking Dem congressperson, which will be forgotten about in short order

So Trump didn’t do what his advisors wanted him to do? Then he may have demanded the secrete service to go somewhere? He was the President, he doesn’t have to listen to anybody! In fact the secrete service should have done exactly what he asked. I still have seen nothing illegal.
