Senator Elizabeth Warren and Representative Alexandria Ocasio-Cortez are both calling for Democrats to take extreme measures to protect abortion rights after the reversal of Roe vs. Wade, but Vice President Kamala Harris signaled the Biden administration is not considering such action at the moment.
Both Warren and Ocasio-Cortez, Democrats from Massachusetts and New York respectively, lobbied for the administration to set up what they called 'emergency abortion clinics' on federal lands.
Warren, speaking on ABC's This Week, said Biden should 'make abortion as available as possible with the tools he has, including medication abortion, including using federal lands as a place where abortions can occur.'

FYI: The U.S. Supreme Court, in correcting the numerous errors of Roe vs. Wade (1973), and Casey vs. Planned Parenthood (1992) IN NO WAY banned the ghoulish practice of abortion. What the Supremes ACTUALLY did, legally speaking, is to return the power to LEGISLATE abortion regulations to the STATES, where the PEOPLE can vote on it. Thus, the decision was strongly pro-democracy and pro-freedom.

It’s a great question. I’m not an expert on the area, but my guess is that if performing an abortion is a crime under state law, it’d probably be illegal to operate an abortion clinic on federal land. I believe that this is under something called the “Assimilative Crimes Act.” There is an exception, though, I believe if Congress were to pass a law explicitly making the action legal on federal land. In other words, if Florida outlaws abortion, and Joe Biden opens up an abortion clinic in Everglades National Park, abortions there would be illegal. But Congress could pass a law declaring that abortions are legal in National Parks, and then the state law wouldn’t be enforceable there.
Federal land belongs to the American people, not the Federal government.

OK, so is FEMA going to swoop down to some parts of the country and set up mobile walk-in-pregnant-stumble-out-not-pregnant centers? “Come in and lose your baby” centers?
It is really amazing to consider the priorities of these people.
I can just see the ads: Come see beautiful Yellowstone Park and murder your baby while your there.
