CNN)President Joe Biden on Saturday signed into law the first major federal gun safety legislation passed in decades, marking a significant bipartisan breakthrough on one of the most contentious policy issues in Washington.
"God willing, it's going to save a lot of lives," Biden said at the White House as he finished signing the bill

So ... does anyone have the “Cliff Notes” on this new steaming pile of legislation?
What, if anything, is specifically “banned”?
Great...just great. I have an FFL AND a commie family member who has made it known that if you are Christian, Republican, or a gun owner, you are her mortal enemy. We fully expect to be red-flagged by cousin.
Johnson would probably have voted for Biden. They sure sound like possibly “birds of a feather”.
“...the law will bar from having a gun anyone...”
Is a person who has a gun that accidental kills someone automatically a criminal? Has the federal government made a dent in the amount of “ILLEGALLY POSSESSED GUNS” on the streets? Then we’re right back where we started throwing the baby out with the bath water.
There are people on the streets that shouldn’t have a driver’s license. There are people out there that shouldn’t have children. There are people out there that shouldn’t vote. So what do you do? Do you take everyone’s privileges away because there are people out there that can or are a problem?
One category I missed was people out there that are in public office that shouldn’t be. And the guy that signed the bill is one.
So the solution is still coming. And that’s when they can TRY to purge the whole country from having guns. And they can’t. But the effort is still coming. Then what? Attack butter knives? And the only line of defense will be calling the cops that are being unfunded.

Don’t remove their fangs or the wolves will win every time.

He should be more concerned with what God will say to him on Judgment Day. I just hope I’m not next in line.
I see nothing in the bill which will stop a killer. We need tools to go after the one who pulls the trigger.
70+% of blacks are born to single mothers and raised without a father or discipline. A breeding ground for killers.
Many mental institutions are closed and good mental health professionals are few and far between. Killers are known and allowed to wander the streets.
Most families in the US do not attend church and definitely don’t expose their children to Sunday school. Kids don’t develop those qualities which lead to good lives.
and on and on!!!
It won’t save a single life but it will likely cost a lot of them.
God willing from those who will meet satan first
“Hopefully, it will convince some Karen’s to vote donkey in the fall.”
They already succeeded in having virtually every woman 18 to 40 voting blue in the fall with abortion and if they go after contraceptives too it will be a blue female wave not like anything seen since prohibition. Every woman and this is literally hundreds of women everyone of them even the normally gop voting ones are voting blue this fall every single one. They all say the same thing why should old men have control over my uterus. Frankly the argument of killing falls on deaf ears they flat out don’t care. I interact with 200+ students every semester I cannot tell you how many registered to vote for the first time this week they are fired up. Going after contraceptives will be the nail in the coffin for female support for the gop. While I agree it’s a tenth amendment issue not a Federal issue the optics is such that the Supremes could not have fired up women voters more in their lifetimes this one issue likely cost the GOP the chance at a majority in the fall and so likely was the desired outcome.
All the Muslim terrorists pepper their tirades with “Inshallah”.
This will save the lives of attorneys, who will be challenging these new laws up through the court system.
That bill won’t save one life.
It will cost former gun owners theirs though.
God Willing.

Somehow I feel that God’s will may be not going in that direction.
But, who can read the mind of the God?
As usual, FJB is full of BS.
I confidently predict this bill will never contribute anything towards stopping a massacre like Uvalde.
The authorities can't even stop the weekly shootings and killings in Chicago which are totally predictable. How can we expect this bill to stop entirely random shootings and killings?
Maybe. It appears as though you don’t like having your maa a n-made superstitions pointed out to you.
“God willing, it’s going to save a lot of lives.”
There’s a five-month-old baby in Chicago who would like the chance to respond.
I don’t even know what that means. Have a nice day.
The best way to stop another Uvalde is to disband the FBI unit responsible for orchestrating these events.
That would be the 1968 Nazi-inspired Gun Control Act.
