Roe v. Wade was not IN FACT precedent. Precedent was in the states. And at one point, abortion was illegal in every state in the country.
Collins needs to write and pass R v. W legislation, not complain about Judicial legislation being disappeared.
She needs to do her job, not whine.
Penumbra-created law is not a precedent, and no badly made law should be considered precedent for future decisions.

Notice both Collins and Manchin can’t specifically state that Gorsuch and Kavanaugh didn’t state they wouldn’t overturn Roe V Wade, but expressed a desire to respect long-standing law. That doesn’t mean RvW wasn’t on shaky legal ground, as Ginsburg herself said. As such, it deserved a review of its constitutionality. That issue is now where it belongs.. with the legislators and voters of the individual states.

Its stupid of Man chin and Collins to ask how a judge would rule on a case before hearing all the evidence given. If a nominee were to actually do that, they should be shut down immediately and their application canned.
