Now the violence in our society can cease.

Abortion on demand released a demon of violence that swallowed a generation of children turning them into murders and thugs.

You can draw a straight line for Roe to the horrible murder rate and school shootings. Time for sanity to return!

This isn’t the end of it. One of the states may allow the killing of a viable child, a partial birth abortion. Then abortion will be back in front of the Supreme Court on the issue of right to life, liberty and pursuit of happiness.

Bush crime family:

Souter, Miers (= NO Alito), Roberts (who did NOT vote to overturn Roe)

Hard telling what kind of deep state scrubs Yeb would have saddled us with!

You’re morally right. I’m think a incremental victory is better than none. Some babies created in God’s image are going to survive because of this.

In this regard, at least, they did. Clarence Thomas has been waiting THIRTY YEARS for this day, Sam Alito for fifteen years.

Then we put Donald Trump in the White House.

I voted for Trump because of judicial appointments. That vote today stands vindicated.

Roberts is compromised, something we did not know when he was nominated. We didn’t find out until he stabbed us in the back with 0bamacare. Harriet Miers was withdrawn in the face of overwhelming protest. Souter was just a plain turd, nothing else to say.

Yeb wouldn’t have saddled us with anything, because Yeb would never have been elected.

Hildebeeste would have created an unimaginable house of horrors.

Which leaves us with Trump, who actually did give Thomas/Alito the support they needed to bring us to this day.

Correct. God through Trump deserves all the credit!

Every single one of you better support TRUMP in 2024! HE is the one that God used to overturn Roe! He delivered!

You know, I voted for Trump twice, but his appointments…

I guess I’d vote for him if he won the nomination.

We need a real Conservative in there.

“Federal recognition of a constitutional right to abortion.” Sounds like Kool-Aid flows mightily at Fox.

He issued a separate concurring opinion, and much of it reads like a word salad, at least the portions highlighted in articles.

All thanks and praise to Lord Jesus Christ! In your Name, Lord, we call for your divine protection from the demonic domestic terrorists in their night and days of satanic rage.

So, I am here in DC for an Open House for my son’s University Fellowship. Interesting times to be in DC!

We walked from the Mayflower Hotel to the White House and then to the Capitol and Supreme Court. Few people at the White House. A few protestors with various issues. A lot of tourists snapping pictures. And a very good Blues guitarist playing along with recorded blues songs!

Getting to the Supreme Court, there was no crowd until you got to the plaza behind the Capitol. There were probably 350-400 people chanting and waving signs. About half the signs (and all the stickers people were wearing) were Astroturf signs made by Planned Parenthood and passed out to protestors. Many others brought their own crayoned signs with phrases they thought were whitty.

What struck me the most was that probably 50-60% of the protestors were obviously gay. Then there was a subset of the straight but hippy crowd of long greasy or blue dyed hair.

But it was refreshing to see a lot of Pro Life people there as well. A few were cornered by groups of abortion supporters shouting at them.

One guy in a suit and sandwich boards against gender transition was mobbed by gays shouting stuff.

But overall peaceful and not as big a crowd as I was expecting. I’m glad I saw it in person!

FWIW, I take “liberty” as a freedom of movement thing. Am I free to go, or must I go where I am told to go (e.g., jail cell, military campaign).

“Inalienable” is the opposite of the ability to take something you have and alienate it to another person. Not that the thing or attribute can’t be taken from you, just that it can’t go from you to another. Can the government take your life? You bet. Capital punishment. Your liberty? Yes. Jail for you, or the draft.

Liberals and living constitutionalists will take any word, anywhere, and pervert its meaning in order to get the outcome they want. This affliction infests the legal profession and courts especially. Sloppy, dangerous to personal independence and freedom.

I don’t think he is compromised. I think he is mentally and ethically weak. Everything is “split the baby” and he thinks that’s clever and correct.

He’s unprincipled. He’d be that way even if he wasn’t being blackmailed.

Thanks for the update. Yes, it is a day and date you will never forget and witness things first hand. Hope you took some pictures for yourself. (I had a similar experience when I was in DC during the Clinton impeachment and was able to sit in the Senate gallery with Rehnquist presiding.)

If you are staying at the Mayflower, you are close to Embassy Row. Some authentic Japanese food is a few blocks north of there as one goes in the direction of Adams M. A couple of times the places were patronized by native Japanese. Unlike many Japanese restaurants elsewhere, the chefs were all Japanese. Safe travels my FRiend.

FYI: The U.S. Supreme Court, in correcting the numerous errors of Roe vs. Wade (1973), and Casey vs. Planned Parenthood (1992) IN NO WAY banned the ghoulish practice of abortion. What the Supremes ACTUALLY did, legally speaking, is to return the power to LEGISLATE abortion regulations to the STATES, where the PEOPLE can vote on it. Thus, the decision was strongly pro-democracy and pro-freedom.
