If nicotine is such a desirable drug, why are alleged nicotine addicts not injecting it or snorting nicotine powder?
Smoking tobacco is addictive - whether it contains nicotine or not.

Since when does the FDA make such decisions? Shouldn’t Congress be involved. The Administrative State is running amok.

Tobacco Industry in play on these. ..... less Nicotene just means more smoking. And needless to say why they oppose e-cigaretts.

"Of all tyrannies, a tyranny sincerely exercised for the good of its victims may be the most oppressive.
It would be better to live under robber barons than under omnipotent moral busybodies. The robber baron's cruelty may sometimes sleep, his cupidity may at some point be satiated; but those who torment us for our own good will torment us without end for they do so with the approval of their own conscience.
They may be more likely to go to Heaven yet at the same time likelier to make a Hell of earth. This very kindness stings with intolerable insult.
To be "cured" against one's will and cured of states which we may not regard as disease is to be put on a level of those who have not yet reached the age of reason or those who never will; to be classed with infants, imbeciles, and domestic animals."
C.S. Lewis.
Bears repeating. C.S. Lewis knew of what he spoke. How prescient he was.

When you ban something for which there’s a widespread demand, who will always profit?

Just ban them all. They were originally supposed to be a transitionary product to wean people addicted to cigarettes. They have instead become an addictive tool themselves. How about they become prescriptive items solely as part of smoking cessation programs?
Yep, troll me for this...

Marijuana ok....nicotine, no.
Hmmmm...I think the drug cartels may own big parts of our government that the tobacco farmers used to own. Wouldn’t be surprised if tobacco farmers ain’t gowing marijuana outside of u.s. for importation to u.s and u.s consumption.
