Netflix is preparing for yet another wave of layoffs as the streaming platform continues to grapple with plummeting stock values and tanking subscriber numbers.
The Los Gatos, California-based streaming giant, which employs 11,000 staffers, is expected to notify those impacted by layoffs at the end of the week, Variety first reported.
It comes on the heels of a previous downsizing at the company prompted by the company losing 70 percent of its stock value since the spring.

I like good news.
Lockdowns, and its associated bing watching of programs are over, and as inflation eats away at the family budget luxuries like streaming services are getting the axe.

I have not kept up with the programming, but is Netflix a service which has been pushing the woke, homosexual themes, etc.? If so that could be part of why people are disconnecting.
There’s a glut of streaming services available, many free.
They raised the price 1 to many times. I canceled direct tv this weekend. They canceled OAN off there broadcasting. They were to expensive anyways.
I wasn’t impressed with the choices they offer.

They push pedophilia. Amazon is better than Netflix imo because it has less in-house made stuff. More just movies. Netflix has flown off the rails since it decided to become a major producer and distributor.
Disney and Paramount need to watch it too.

100% true. I saw the memo weeks ago. It’s a business model that is difficult to sustain. As a producer, we laugh at these clowns because it’s upfront payment for a project which they’ve never seen before. And we get greenlit asap, esp. when we pretend we’re a buncha commie fags. They have 3 buildings on Sunset which will now be almost empty. tsk tsk

The major studios setup their own streaming sites and are likely moving their produced progams to those.
Netflix like Webvan was doomed from the start.
Netflix used to offer a lot more but disney and other companies stopped showing their movies and shows on Netflix in order to come out with their streaming services.
Streaming is splintering into a ton of choices...Some of them are free....
