If it is COVID, I would get him some Ivermectin as soon as possible, even if you have to sneak it in.
The normal dose is based on the weight of the patient and is the same as the dose for horses or cattle (per pound). But the current recommendation is to use a triple dose.
The liquid that is used topically on livestock can be used topically on people.
The standard treatment is to use one triple dose daily for 5 days or until recovered.

That’s good. Being able to breath room air is always a good sign. That’s what the hospital staff wanted me to be able to do before they released me from Covid care back in Feb.
