Russians Capture Americans In Donbass As Kremlin Rejects US Biolabs Explanation In Ukraine

As the situation in Donbass (East Ukraine) worsens for Ukrainian forces, as reports are now leaking from Kyiv that Ukraine is losing 1,000 troops a day, the State Department has essentially admitted American mercenaries have been captured by Russian forces in-country.

Alexander John-Robert Drueke, 39, from Tuscaloosa, Alabama and Andy Tai Ngoc Huynh, 27, from Hartselle, Alabama are currently “missing” from the battlefield, however, their precise fate is as yet unconfirmed, according to a State Department official, reported Zero Hedge.

White House national security spokesman John Kirby didn’t confirm the reports, but strongly hinted that it’s the administration’s belief they were likely captured, given he stated to reporters the US government “will do everything we can” to get Huynh and Drueke back.

Meanwhile, the Kremlin is stepping up the information war against the existence, and explanation of, U.S. biolabs in Ukraine.

“The ‘explanations’ provided by the US don’t have answers to the questions we posed – why was the work carried out by order of the Pentagon, and its subject matter was not consistent with actual problems of Ukrainian health care? What for did officers from the US military agency participate in biological research in Ukraine, while the work was carried out in secrecy with restricted access of Ukrainian specialists to information and premises?” declared Chief of Russia’s Nuclear, Biological and Chemical Protection Troops Igor Kirillov today in Moscow, reported Russian state news agency TASS.

There are no answers either to the questions why strains of pathogenic microorganisms – potential biological weapons agents, and biomaterials of Ukrainian citizens were exported from Ukraine without clearly declared purposes. Why are the US officials, including Under Secretary of State Victoria Nuland, so worried that that the results of the US Department of Defense activities in Ukraine and materials in the bio laboratories may get into the hands of Russian specialists?

In addition, the question remained unanswered as to why the US and Ukraine keep quiet about cooperation in the military-biological sphere in international reporting under the Biological Weapons Convention, and why the US has been blocking the development of its verification mechanism since 2001, Kirillov said. The briefing focused on the results of analysis of the documents regarding Washington’s military-biological activity in Ukraine.

I know I’d be mad if other countries were operating clandestine bio-terror labs on our border.

Didn’t somebody in the Biden regime explain the biolabs already? That they were Soviet facilities which the US was helping to dismantle?

(Never explained why 20 years later the “dismantling” was still underway.)

"“will do everything we can” to get Huynh and Drueke back."

I guess plausible deniability only works for the Biden crime family.

the State Department has essentially admitted American mercenaries have been captured by Russian forces in-country.

It would seem considerably more than two.

Russia published detailed statistics on foreign mercs in the Ukraine today, broken down by country of origin and the outcome.

The numbers for the US are 530 arrived since the beginning of the war, of them 214 killed, 227 returned home, and 89 are currently at large (or captured).

It is clear from the news that all mercs are tracked and captured mercs are interrogated to obtain info on other mercs.

So, are they mercenaries, or in Ukraine via sponsorship of the US State Department?
If truly mercenaries, imho, they took their chances and lost.
If they're there with the blessing of the US State Department, that's something else.

Shouldn't the State Department be more concerned about those left behind in Afghanistan?

“will do everything we can”

Means they will do absolutely nothing.

Truthfully, there is nothing substantial they can do. They just don't want to admit that.

They have little or nothing of value to the Russians which might be used in trade to get those men returned alive.

A brilliant scientist was mysteriously fired from a Winnipeg virus lab. No one knows why.

She was escorted away by the RCMP more than two years ago, sparking international controversy. What really happened to Xiangguo Qiu?

Xiangguo Qiu would seem an unlikely character in a tale of international intrigue. A mild-mannered scientist who won accolades for her work fighting the deadly Ebola virus inside Canada’s most secure laboratory, her career was cut short in July 2019, when she and her husband were escorted out of her Winnipeg lab by the RCMP. Since then, she has become a central figure in a major political battle in Ottawa and the star of international conspiracy theories. She has been accused of selling state secrets, contributing to a clandestine Chinese bioweapons program, and even of helping to create COVID-19.

The story of Xiangguo Qiu is still shrouded in mystery, but former colleagues have told Maclean’s her case has more to do with tensions and warring priorities inside the lab than with anything more nefarious. Qiu’s own signature accomplishment, they say, offers some clues as to exactly where it all went wrong.

A medical doctor and biologist, Qiu joined the National Microbiology Lab (NML)—run by the Public Health Agency of Canada (PHAC)—in 2003. Much of her work at NML focused on Ebola. There, she led a project that hoped to prove that lab-grown “monoclonal” antibodies could stop the virus from infecting healthy cells—if their strategy worked, it could be a huge breakthrough in treating other viral infections, from HIV to other coronaviruses to who knows what else. (Her husband, Keding Cheng, also a biologist at the lab, helped the project on occasion.)

Its the Peter Arnett antithesis: "We had to save the biolabs in order to destroy them."

Does this include the Wagner Group, the Kadyrovskys, the Syrians and ISIS fighters?

Stats are of foreign mercs on the Nazi side; there are some volunteers fighting the Nazis but you should not be mixing regular Russian Army/National Guard (Chechen forces are part of it) with mercenaries.

ISIS is not a country so it is not possible how many of former ISIS people fight for the Kiev regime now. The numbers for Syria are 200/80/66/54; but no way of knowing how many are ISIS, or Al Nusrah, or other “democratic forces”.

Results

  1. fact checks and denials from MSM
  2. MSM calling people conspiracy theorists
  3. A dozen crazy right wing websites with the exact same article on all that exaggerate the situation

and this - https://greenwald.substack.com/p/victoria-nuland-ukraine-has-biological

Any attempt to claim that Ukraine's biological facilities are just benign and standard medical labs is negated by Nuland's explicitly grave concern that “Russian forces may be seeking to gain control of” those facilities and that the U.S. Government therefore is, right this minute, “working with the Ukrainians on how they can prevent any of those research materials from falling into the hands of Russian forces.

I wonder if the threats, grovelling and media driven “international outcry” for these mercenaries will reach the level it did when the US tried to stop Michael Fay’s lilly white butt cheeks from being caned in Singapore for spray painting cars. Vandalism in other countries can have nasty consequences.

The US funded gain of function research in Wuhan China. Fauci denied it but we know he lied, and there are still no consequences. The CDC and NIH receive so much funding from the pharmaceutical companies that they have a conflict of interest in all their public utterances and policies.

In the past, the worst enemy of the pharmaceuticals were the Democrats and the specter of price controls. Now Pfizer and Moderna have no better friend. Government extortion or corporate bribery? - You decide. There are so many examples of bad faith in the U.S. government when it comes to biolabs that Biden, Fauci and others have no more credibility than Putin.

Is it inconceivable that the US funded biological work in both Wuhan China and the Ukraine? How much does this biological research resemble bio-terrorism?

A lot of research for Fauchi happened in Russian labs, not just Chinese ones.

Then I take it you would take the Russian's concern about these Biolabs in Ukraine with some sort of seriousness, right?
