Defense Secretary Lloyd Austin announced another $1 billion in military aid for Ukraine on Wednesday, following the third meeting of the Ukraine Defense Contact Group, a group of about 50 nations supporting Ukraine in its war against Russia.
“I’m especially pleased to be able to announce today that the United States will provide an additional $1 billion security assistance package for Ukraine,” Austin said at a press conference at the NATO headquarters in Brussels, where the members of the group met.

But couldn’t spare a dime for the wall
So when can we see the American Flag being flown in Ukraine, like we see the Ukraine flag flown here?
> as long as it takes
They’re hoping for another Afghanistan. 18 years of happy budget time!
Any bets on the DJIA moderating tomorrow?

Money laundering continues.
If we only knew what percent comes back as an under the table payment?
Where is Congressional approval on all this spending ? Who gave the President or for that matter General Austin the authority to spend all this money we don’t have ? The President can’t spend diddly without congressional approval.
Democrats are hostile to THIS country’s good.
Most likely its being diverted from our armed forces budget.
Like Biden/Austin did in Afghanistan?
Chuckle.
As long as it takes for what? Diesel to hit $10/gallon? Famine to spread through Africa? Russia to retire all of its national debt? Germany to go back to plowing fields with oxen?
At some point (and that point was months ago), the US should have realized that we aren’t in 1982 any more and that outspending the commies isn’t working. The US could have negotiated an end to the conflict in Ukraine by now, but we didn’t. Same with the EU, but they didn’t. They’re all just figuring that Uncle Sugar can keep spending money forever.
At least half and of course 10 percent to the Big Guy.
-—under the table? Figger 100%. So far as I can tell no actual cash goes to the Ukes. This is money paid to US contractor types for weapons, etc. Just like we do with Israel. We give them a 3 billion dollar credit line every year to buy weapons from our companies. Remember the first alleged 40 billion. A billion being 1,000 millions, that’s a huge pile of bullets, etc. There’s simply no way that much cargo is being shipped to the Ukes in a short time.
Congress approved the money?
Austin retired from the Army and went to work for Raytheon Technologies, the second biggest Defense contractor. Austin is the epitome of the Military Industrial Complex.
“At least half and of course 10 percent to the Big Guy”.
Biden doesn’t get a cent now. They have him where they want him.
