The original formula recall announced by the FDA in February did not include the brand we used for our daughter, which made me assume that we would not be affected. As a first-time mom already concerned about keeping her baby safe during the pandemic, I didn’t need another thing to worry about. I thought that the government would step in before families had to go out of their way to find food. We noticed the large empty spaces on shelves at every store but remained optimistic that help would arrive soon. Yet the shelves only grew emptier.
My mother-in-law agreed to look for formula while driving from Nebraska to visit us. We relaxed a bit: surely some formula could be found on a 1,200-mile road trip. But we were wrong. There was none. Someone at our church offered us several boxes of expired formula from Germany. I read from many health experts online that the nutrients in formula start to degrade over time and bacteria can develop in formula past its due date – but we didn’t have any other options. Maybe I am just a first-time mom who needs to stop Googling everything, but I was desperate for someone to assure me that I was making the right choices and taking appropriate risks to keep my daughter alive.
Luckily, our daughter was able to tolerate the milk. But even with half the formula, we still struggle to find what we need. I recently had a friend in Boston mail me three boxes that she found 30 minutes outside the city. The support of my community is the only thing that keeps me believing in my daughter’s future. I recognize that it is a luxury to even have a support system to help us get by.

So, actually...insert meme.
Some moms can’t breast feed. It is sad but true.
We make food for babies to help them grow regardless of if the teet is dry.
I am from the government and am here to help you.
Lol
“Some women cannot breast feed. I don’t know how many times we women repeat this. If a woman is not breast feeding for any reason, many justifiable health reasons, the tank has no breast milk. There is no magic valve to turn it off and on. LOL”
+++++++
Thank you for saying that. Some women can’t breast feed, and some babies can’t breast feed, and there are so many reasons why formula is needed.
That being said, if you can’t find the formula your child usually drinks, then try the carnation milk, karo syrup, water mix, and supplement with an infant vitamin. Try just a little bit at first and see if your child can tolerate it. It worked for us 60’ babies, and it will do in an emergency such as this.
After that they move on to. Hickenlooper nuggets and ravioli
Hows the biden shelves doing for those ingredients?
This is why baby formula was invented. My mother told me that in the mid 1950s, new mothers would often be given medications to dry up their milk because formula was considered safer. I'm sure there were economic reasons involved as well, but the point is that this was a stupid then as the people are now who pooh-pooh the need for formula.
After The Revolution [Great Rest], there will be No Formula FOR YOU!.

Make your own.
Try to not do anything where the fat hand of the government brought it to you.
Years ago that was true, but that has changed. When women started going to work back in the day, they chose formula.
Some women just encounter infections and some women never produce enough.
Now, the woman’s breast milk is being ruined if the mother got the fake vaxes.
This is being reported by Naomi Wolfe who has a team pouring through those Pfizer documents they wanted to hide for 75 years.

So far, they seem to be available. However, if you have a young child, I would suggest stocking up while they are there to buy. I don’t think things are going to be “more available” any time soon.
I wonder if this, more than anything, will be the dimwitocrat downfall this fall. How many rely on the gooberment to feed them via WIC and the like, and how many realize the government has screwed them over?
Soon the babies won’t need their formula. They will get their “vaccines”. There will be a lot of that available. That should take care of any personal needs they have.
Maybe going off her man-made meds and breastfeeding as nature intended would be a solution. Or if she won’t/can’t - then pick the best option. The kid probably won’t tell the difference.
My mom knew some crazy OCD b!tch when they were living on base in the 70s. She confided to my mom she was gonna put her baby on skim milk and not tell the pediatrician. I don’t know how old the baby was. Maybe less than a year? Hopefully the husband or somebody closer to her than my mom got wind of it and talked her out of that craziness as the kid would have been malnourished and possibly developed brain damage.
nurse the baby.....make your baby daddy work his butt off to support you and stop accepting that you must use formula when infact, nursing your baby with natural milk is the best, and cheapest way.....
I am really old so here is a stupid question?
What happened to breast feeding? How did infants make it to childhood in 1776 without baby formula? I don’t get it. I thought you could breast feed kids right up until they star with solid baby food.
What gives? Is it just not cool to breastfeed anymore or did some nutcase quack say it causes breast cancer or what? I am pretty sure I didn’t receive a gulp of baby formula when I was an infant back in the 1950s. I am pretty sure it was breastfeeding straight until strained carrots and applesauce.
They are by now peopled by employees who won "participation trophies" as kids and have ever since been convinced they were born to rule.
Their old, grey-haired '60s and '70s - era "activist" bosses let them think that way.
Is this a LOL “laugh out loud” situation?
You don’t sound too smart.
His administration shut down a plant responsible for 40% of it’s production. Then left it closed for months
