Air Board Chair Liane Randolph asked staff to find more strategies to ensure that the state’s proposed mandate includes strong equity measures so that low-income residents face fewer barriers buying electric cars.

Reality is starting to stare them in the face. And it ain’t pretty.

The charging problem has already been solved. It’s based on a simple premise developed by AOC, whom I believe has an advanced degree in electrical engineering. I’m surprised California doesn’t know about it.

Beat me to it, realities are not part of what they do.

When will Citizen stand up and say enough? The intentionally raised fuel prices are strangling the middle and lower class. The laughable suggestion to buy an electric car, if there were any available, it’s pretty lame for middle and lower class who may already be paying car payments, who can’t afford a car payment, who are now being stripped of all funds for overpriced gas. Well the government offer a buyback program for gasoline powered cars?

Practically doesn't matter when the planet has to be saved. To hell with drivers and police departments and fire departments and ambulance and all emergencies; the planet comes first, therefore, deal with it, Californians (and those others going through the same insanity in other states/cities/communities.

Most cobalt mined in the DRC is used in laptops and cellphones.

I bet their real concern is if gas cars are banned, they’ll have abandoned being called CARB and be called BATTERY. Ha ha

To: artichokegrower
Well, if they DID question it, it didn’t appear in the first 20 paragraphs. Nowhere was it questioned where the electricity would come from. Maybe if they stopped smoking their brain-addling weed, the air pollution would drop by half. Idiots.
