Actor Matthew McConaughey was spotted on Capitol Hill on Monday and Tuesday, after endorsing gun control laws in an op-ed in the Austin American-Stateman.

If I were a Senator I’d ask him, “So, the rich would have no body guards with guns to protect them too, right, including yourself?”

Found this comment:
“The fact that armed police did not
go in to protect unarmed civilians,
kids...
... Sort of takes away the
argument that civilians don’t need
arms because the police will
protect them.”

What makes him an expert? Too timid to take on Abbott. Wants to be taken seriously without the work. Didn’t know making movies count.

Dafuq is his relevance here?
At least TX knows to avoid electing him now.

MM once lost 50 pounds to play an AIDS patient. Should be a snap to lose 20 IQ points to star in “The Beto O’Rourke Story.”

Waving the white flag on the US Constitution is not and will never be acceptable, not even marginally!
To: ChicagoConservative27
I didn’t give McConaughey, or anyone else, permission to negotiate away my Constitutional rights.

My only complaint with the Ronald Reagan Administration is; now every two bit actor and the news media think they are qualified to run every thing including my life.

Plumbers don’t feel the need to lecture everyone on politics. And neither do dentists, etc. But actors are different. They simply must give their opinion on every last thing. I dunno. Maybe they really are smarter than the rest of us.
Side note to Mr. McConaughey: I’m having a bit of a problem with my furnace filter. Perhaps you can stop by and tell me exactly how to fix it.

Interesting how he uses the 1st Amendment to espouse the infringement of the 2nd Amendment.

‘Acceptable Sacrifice.’
I missed it. Where does the Constitution say that bad actor OWNS the Second Amendment? Where does it say Congress or the President own it? Nowhere. You wanna do something about it then pass another amendment to repeal it. And, as the Bard said, “therein lies the rub.”
