Former House Speaker Newt Gingrich called President Joe Biden the “second-worst” in the country’s history.
According to Gingrich, Biden is second to former President James Buchanan, who he blamed for getting the country into the Civil War.
“I think it’s important to remember, first of all, to be fair, Jimmy Carter was a disaster,” he said. “But he was a lot smarter and a lot more coherent than Joe Biden. Well, Carter, in the end, couldn’t solve the problems. He at least was there. You could imagine him as a naval academy graduate and a nuclear engineer from the submarine program. He was – he had a kind of competence even if he was incompetent. Biden has neither.”

Yes, the scumbag Glen traded his votes to Bill Clinton to get another chance to go into space. Glen’s last few years in the senate showed what a total piece of $hit he was. /spit

“Gingrich needs to step aside with his Conservative Inc pablum, and let MTJ & Matt Gaetz be the voice of the Biden Resistance.”
Agreed
Newt had a good run, for what it was.
Time to turn the pagee.
Love that “The Biden Resistence”
True - Buchanan had nearly no options and little control over the events that were spiraling. He was of the old school of leaders that looked upon the presidency as a minor executive functionary, where the Senate held the majority of power and leadership.
No. Buchanan had to go one way or the other. Give into the secessionists or resist them and strengthen the union. He did neither. His mixture of inaction and bad actions set the scene for a conflict that might have happened eventually to happen when it did.
In a bit of research, I found that Sen. Glenn was an occasional visitor to Epstein’s (who didn’t kill himself) Pedo Island.
Funny how things turn out ...
👍
Carter is moral Biden is not.
Biden and Obama are in a class of their own.
Any top three list without LBJ on it shows a complete lack of understanding of American history.
Did Biden, Obama or even Carter indirectly kill 50,000 Americans? Give Obama and Biden time and they may exceed $10 trillion wasted on disastrous policies, but Johnson is already there.
True Biden is a demented POS but he’s the democrats finest in their mind it’s why they put him in office.
Stupidity has no limits.
Not only was Carter a decent, honest man, he was a better POTUS than Biden.
And he sucked.
Think of what Buchanan must’ve been like to be worse than a nasty, corrupt, demented pants-pooper.
The country was in better shape in 2012 or 2016 than it was in 2008. Obama was at best mediocre, but he was nowhere near as bad as Biden, or Carter for that matter. Maybe it was the Republican Congress that kept him in check or maybe the “fundamental transformation of America” was only political rhetoric.
LBJ and Wilson did much harm, but the country had a cushion back then. We became a major power when Europe destroyed itself in WWI and became a superpower when Europe and Asia destroyed themselves in WWI. We don’t have that cushion any more and mistakes hurt us more.
The right to independence is articulated in our own Declaration of Independence. The only legal and moral thing for him to do was to leave them alone.
What he *DID* do is to secretly try to sneak a force into Fort Sumter by loading them onto the Star of the West in an effort to get them past the forces defending the channel.
Other ships saw the forces being offloaded from the Brooklyn and telegraphed the Confederate authorities before the Star of the West arrived in the Channel.
The *KNEW* Buchanan was trying to sneak additional forces into the Fort, and *THAT* is why they fired on the Star of the West.
It is also why they subsequently had no reason to trust the US government to tell the truth.
Lincoln killed 750,000 Americans. By the standard you put forth, he should be at Number 1.
“I am assuming he wasn’t a nonqual.”
He qual’d on diesel boats.
“let MTJ & Matt Gaetz be the voice of the Biden Resistance”
No thanks.
There’s no better way to drive myself and millions of other conservatives elsewhere.
