Wednesday on MSNBC’s “Morning Joe,” The Lincoln Project co-founder George Conway reacted to former Hillary Clinton campaign lawyer Michael Sussmann being acquitted of lying to the FBI about supposed “collusion” between then-candidate Donald Trump and Russia during the 2016 campaign.
Conway said that special counsel John Durham’s probe into the “Russian collusion” hoax should be “headed into the trash can.” He described both the case and investigation as jokes.

It still bothers me that his wife was right in Trump’s inner circle. There is no way he did not glean information and feed it to the enemy. Even if she really tried to clam up he could get all kinds of intelligence from just her comings and goings, from her stressed mood upon coming home from work, from overhearing this and that on the phone.

Right. That was the first thought that came to mind after reading the jury forewoman's statement that, “I don’t think it should have been prosecuted...There are bigger things that affect the nation than a possible lie to the FBI.”
Guess he missed the under oath testimony that just further confirmed the whole thing was a hoax and one of the worst political scandals in history.

George Conway is a running joke. Never-Trumper almost from the start, he does not miss any opportunity to score points when it comes to how the Clinton Crime Family worked so diligently to force Trump from office.
The judge, jury and even the venue was biased against the charges brought against Sussman. This in no way mitigates his guilt in lying to the FBI. But the trial itself managed to confirm a considerable number of subterfuges the Clinton Crime Family engaged in, including the fake “Steele dossier”.
Will there be more coming down the pike? Sussman was small potatoes in this scheme, the reason for pressure on him was to get him to turn and name the higher-ups in the scheme. But their names were recovered, and their implication in a number of the schemes was established.
Way more than enough to indict a ham sandwich here. And not all covered by statute of limitations either.
