Former Clinton attorney Michael Sussmann was acquitted on charges of lying to the FBI because the jury thought it was a waste of time, jurors indicated after giving the not guilty verdict."
I don't think it should have been prosecuted," she said, The Washington Times reported. "There are bigger things that affect the nation than a possible lie to the FBI."
Special Counsel John Durham charged Sussmann with lying to the FBI about his work with the Clinton campaign and a former tech firm executive when he provided the agency with information on the since-debunked Trump-Russia collusion narrative.
She explained, "It was the government’s job to prove it, and they succeeded in some ways and not in others... We broke it down, and it did not pan out in the government’s favor."
She stressed that the verdict was not a partisan decision.
"Politics were not a factor. ... We felt really comfortable being able to share what we thought. We had concise notes, and we were able to address the questions together," the forewoman said, according to The Washington Post.
The government "could have spent our time more wisely," she added.
Another juror told the Post that "everyone pretty much saw it the same way" in the jury room.

DC Juror. Pffttt!!!
Oh good, now they can run all cases by her to decide if they have merit🙄
Political agenda over rule of law.
I’m sure she’s talking about “white supremacy” and “the insurrection”.
Hillary Clinton lying face down in a pool of her vomit. (more important)
"We are all partisan Democrats, we all lied to get on the jury and we all agreed that he was not guilty, regardless of whether or not he lied to the FBI."
I would love to tell her that defending her against terrorists and foreign hostiles is a waste of time and money!
There’s only one way to fix this problem. It’s stated in the Declaration of Independence.
She explained, “It was the government’s job to prove it, and they succeeded in some ways and not in others... We broke it down, and it did not pan out in the government’s favor.”
So what Durham had was a Sussman visit to the FBI... and a billing to Clinton for 3 hours that day. Employing the “beyond reasonable doubt” mantra, one could conclude that, without a direct smoking gun such as a billing that was labeled “met with FBI”, that Sussman could have met with the FBI on his premise, and did other work for Clinton in the same day.
While that stretches the boundaries of reality, having sat on juries I know its hard to send someone to prison if there is a reasonable gap in explanation.
Jury nullification?
Not for nothing, but the so-called Rule if Law in this case was to make a huge show of impaling an ordinary scummy lawyer while ignoring the elephant in the room, which is a merry band of executive branch employees acting traitoriously and impunitiously with respect to their hated boss, the U.S. Prexy.
There are many out there like her, who are too biased to know just how biased they are, too misinformed to know how misinformed they are, and so ideological such that they feel justified in lying, stealing votes, etc. - as long as their ‘side’ comes out on top.
The verdict is about guilt or innocence, not about the worthiness of the charge. Mercy is left to the sentencing.
Translation: Laws don’t apply to us.
The real thought process: Removing Trump, by any means necessary, was more important than any law or document written by white slave owners.
Yes. Nullification by a jury disgusted by an interminably extended deep state-preserving pantomime by Durham and his team of laggards.
Jury nullification is a powerful thing.
How are were supposed to have any confidence in our judicial system with travesties like this.
