Despite the midterm election season looking increasingly grim for Democrats, Colorado Gov. Jared Polis (D) says his focus on the empowerment of individual voters has him in a good spot in a notoriously “purplish” state.
“Colorado is a very independently minded, freedom-oriented state, and they don’t want Republicans or Democrats telling them what to do,” Polis told The Hill.
“They value accurate information, they value facts, and people should be empowered to make their own decisions, whether that’s marijuana, whether it’s wearing a mask — we’re a state that values freedom.”

More voters than residents in many Colorado counties. Even the election people have said it’s rigged. Polis not worried because no free and fair elections.

I’m in Colorado and whenever I meet someone from California I say “I hope you’re not bringing the disastrous California politics to Colorado”.
I’ve made some mad but don’t give a damn. I have met two who agree with me and say that’s why they left Calif. and not to worry. They were Republicans.
Heidi Ganahl is working her butt off touring around the state but I’m not sure she can overcome all the lefties in Denver/ Boulder. She is a friend of mine and I sincerely hope she isn’t wasting her shot at the governorship. Personally, I would have rather seen her face a new Dem opponent than Polis.

According to the Hill, there isn’t one democrat anywhere who is sweating November. And I agree with them. The Dems should listen and not panic and don’t do anything dumb like campaign. It’s in the bag.
