Plant them and stay out in the sun for a few minutes when you water them and you’ll get plenty of Vit D.

How long before TBC tomatoes?

Not that I want one, it’s just you know somebody is going to do it. Then of course, it will cross pollinate with nearby farms, eventually contaminating the entire food supply with schizophrenia inducing wacky weed tomatoes.

Seems simpler to take a supplement if needed. Think we’d have had better results if government had pushed vitamin D supplements instead of masks, particularly in places like NYC. But I don’t need Vitamin D supplements in my milk and tomatoes. I’m in Arizona and will get a LOT of sun today...

Simpler, yes - but I’ve seen claims that oral vitamin D doesn’t have the same immunoprotective effect that sunlight does for the same serum Vitamin D level.

So enjoy your sunshine in AZ . . .

BTW I do take supplements of V - D.

Tomatoes? Maybe not, LOL.

I’m not getting rid of my Better Boys to plant whatever those are.

I agree. Vitamin D from sunlight is a wonderful thing. In Arizona, I get a lot - but I also often wear long sleeves, hats with brims, sunscreen, etc. I take cod liver oil (lemon flavored) which also has vitamin D. And K2 to supplement the effects of vitamin D.

But in a pinch, an oral supplement is cheap and certainly has helped SOME people raise their serum Vitamin D.
