While covering the heinous attack on Robb Elementary School in Uvalde, Texas, on Tuesday, CNN’s Wolf Blitzer suggested “weapons of mass destruction” are too easy to get in America.
Blitzer was covering the school shooting and highlighting the gun control push Sen. Chris Murphy (D-CT) launched shortly after news of the shooting broke.

Wolf traps can be had.....
That’s Texas decision. The federal govt doesn’t have authority over a states gun laws or much of anything else.
I wonder how much money the DNC is paying these leftist freaks to shoot up these gun free zones ahead of the midterms.
Wolf is still wolfing?
I was sure he had been convinced to retire by now.
He’s not making news as much as in the past.
Changing definitions again are they
If that qualifies as a weapon of mass destruction, the media needs to admit W Bush was right about Saddam’s WMD.
A handgun is not a weapon of mass destruction, you moron.
LEFTIST TRIGGER LEFTIST ALERT! LEFTIST TRIGGER ALERT! LEFTIST TRIGGER ALERT!
Oh shitte man! Wolfee found out about that nuke that I hide under my bed! I hope he doesn’t find out about the one in the fridge, or the one in the bathroom!
</sarc>
For all the lefties that I triggered, please excuse yourselves, got to the lavatory, and clean yourselves up!
That is all.
Do we know what weapons they used?
Wolf Blitzer is the same clown who embarrassed himself with his abysmal performance on 'Jeopardy!'. Andy Richter destroyed the idiot.

But it’s true. Any mass killings other than with guns are ignored.
Yea but both are problems. Now is the time to address the mass murder of school kids. Not try to sugar coat it with irrelevant statistics. No one is going to listen and say “hey, good point, more guns for everyone and let’s vote Republican.” It’s a real problem and guns in every kids locker is not the solution. Even a hint of mental illness should be considered when handing out high cap assault weapons is a good idea.
Report I read said he had a handgun and perhaps a rifle.
Suggest we get confirmation of the facts before bloviating.
Blitzer - still an ignorant ahole. Some jerks never learn.
Just remember — the military uses an M16A4. You could possibly buy one, but it is very difficult.
It looks like the shooter used an AR-15. This is not a military rifle. It is, in fact, a common hunting rifle.
I haven’t seen if he had high-capacity magazines. Not really important, other than possibly price; it takes little time to swap magazines, and when you are shooting up a school, it isn’t likely the 5-10 seconds to reload is going to be an issue.
If we were going to “stop” this particular shooting through the means of a gun ban, you’d have to ban all sales of semi-automatic hunting rifles, AND run a confiscation program for the ones in circulation.
If that is not the proposal, the proposal is NOT meant to address an issue in most mass shootings.
Red Flag laws get some blowback because they need to be finely crafted to avoid “guilty-without-proof” confiscation, but a reasonable Red Flag law, properly enforced, would likely have stopped this shooting, given the number of statements this child made that made friends and others nervous about what he was doing.
Is this the same guy who said there were no WMD’s in Iraq?
