So many injured as well as killed. At first I thought he got into a classroom. Now I wonder if it was a cafeteria. It happen near lunch time. I know when I taught all doors were locked but cafeteria and kitchen doors were often open for deliveries.
It may be a case of a minor whose record was expunged when he turned 18, never having done anything other than petty crimes.

Elementary school I went to was open, elementary and middle school my kids go to is wide open. Not rural either.
