This sounds more like a personal vendetta. Somebody did not like this farmer.

Buying this much herbicide could easily be traced to its retail or more likely wholesale source.

Buying just a gallon of concentrated Roundup is expensive. Buying 50+ gallons would be very expensive(thousands of dollars).
Also, there are not that many sources for a quantity of that amount.

Yes, this is not something they bought at Home Depot, Lowes or Tractor Supply.

Kind of like the OKC bombing. When you buy that much fertilizer now, it should have raised eyebrows somewhere.

There is a wholesale supplier somewhere in the MD, PA, VA & NJ area that sold this amount of chemicals.
