SEOUL, South Korea (AP) — President Biden on Saturday signed legislation to support Ukraine with an additional $40 billion in U.S. assistance as the Russian invasion approaches its fourth month.

The funding is intended to support Ukraine through September, and it dwarfs an earlier emergency measure that provided $13.6 billion.

The new legislation will provide $20 billion in military assistance, ensuring a steady stream of advanced weapons that have been used to blunt Russia’s advances. There’s also $8 billion in general economic support, $5 billion to address global food shortages that could result from the collapse of Ukrainian agriculture and more than $1 billion to help refugees.

So all congress, the senate and of course the WH folded. Meanwhile we’re going hungry and broke while illegals get cart blanche.

I’ll repeat. we have a rogue government. It’s off the rails and no one is pulling the levers to get anything on track.

/\

Maybe

next year

due to fertalizer shortage

But right now ukrain is flush with grain from this year’s crop

Ukraine has more food ( grain) than they can eat, so why are we sending them money.

This year’s yield
is there
for all of Europe and the world.

They are using next year’s problem as an excuse to launder 5 billion this year.

Grifters gonna grift.

Just how much did joe owe them? Hasn’t he sent them enough of our money to repay them for their generosity to his family members?

The ONLY thing that this ‘aid’ will achieve is higher prices here in the US (and for a longer period).

All FReepers who support it should be tarred & feathered, and billed for our higher expenses/taxes.

Much of the grain planed for export is stored in Odessa, and cannot be shipped out thanks to Russian intereference, so Putin is not only willing to bomb whole cities into smitherines, but also starve millions of people in third world countries. A lot of that grain was for international service organizations helping the 3rd world countries.
