The trend in the country up to at least 1990 was very good. Race didn’t matter very much at all. Not to whites, anyway. And not too much to blacks either. People got along, and probably 95% of the country agreed that racism was a bad old idea.
That’s all changed. Because of Al Sharpton and BLM and Obama and many other black activists who sell nothing but hate.
I know very well that a large — LARGE — percentage of blacks really hate whites and blame us for everything in the world.
And guess what? There are plenty of white people today who have utter contempt for anything related to blacks. Didn’t used to be like that. But there you have it. A whole lot of whites hate blacks. And the black people have no one to blame but themselves.

I AM looking forward, however, to Ibram’s article — if he ever gets around to writing it — about how he proposes to abolish half of his own ancestry.
