The trend in the country up to at least 1990 was very good. Race didn’t matter very much at all. Not to whites, anyway. And not too much to blacks either. People got along, and probably 95% of the country agreed that racism was a bad old idea.
That’s all changed. Because of Al Sharpton and BLM and Obama and many other black activists who sell nothing but hate.
I know very well that a large — LARGE — percentage of blacks really hate whites and blame us for everything in the world.
And guess what? There are plenty of white people today who have utter contempt for anything related to blacks. Didn’t used to be like that. But there you have it. A whole lot of whites hate blacks. And the black people have no one to blame but themselves.
Black culture needs to go fix itself.

Maybe it is living in Arizona where only 4.5% of the population is black, but I don’t know ANY whites who hate blacks. Know some Hispanics who hate blacks, but no whites.
Unhappily, I do know blacks who blame whites for everything. From my unrepresentative sample, maybe 50%? What was troubling a few years back was to find some blacks I thought were friends had been secretly harboring hatred and resentment, accusing me not of anything I had actually DONE but blaming me for being part of some white power structure that kept them down...and these were people I had PRAYED with in church!
We’re no longer friendly. I don’t wish them ill but I am now very cautious about assuming a black friend is actually a friend....
Sucks but like this article - too many people are telling blacks all whites are evil oppressors, and too many believe it. But no, I don’t hate blacks and don’t know anyone who does. I just am wary now. And wish I didn’t need to be!

Having just returned from two weeks in southeastern Africa, I will no longer refer to the majority of their culture as ‘black’...they, CULTURALLY, are AFRICAN!
The old line ‘You can take the African out of Africa, but you can’t take the Africa out of the African”, is very true.
Of course, this is my opinion, based on my personal observations.
