Millions of Americans across the Midwest, Southwest and West are expected to face blackouts throughout the summer months, an industry analysis concluded.

A variety of factors, including drought conditions and low wind conditions, are expected to put Americans in roughly 28 states at risk of experiencing blackouts this summer, according to a report from the North American Electric Reliability Corporation (NERC), a U.S. regulatory authority, published Wednesday. The region managed by the Midcontinent Independent System Operator (MISO) across 15 Midwest states is at the highest risk of “energy emergencies” during the summer due to capacity shortfalls, the analysis showed.

It takes a lot of energy to keep a 2-ton EV moving. If only a few hundred people have those, that’s not a problem. But if they ever really catch on we are all going to suffer. That is, until we build more nuclear plants.

Pyrrhic victory.

When the rats nest is destroyed they will seek new homes to spread their diseases.

You may not remember the words base load, but that was what made electricity reliable. Base load describes the difference between insanity, and reality. Base load is the power production necessary to provide electricity to the grid 24 seven 365 days of the year for virtually any foreseeable circumstance. In other words there is a vast amount of power to assist the grid in nearly any circumstance that might hinder the 24 seven 365 days a year unlimited power use.

Until the day of radical insanity brought to you by the wind and solar morons influencing the power producers. The EPA an unelected body of morons clueless to the many decades of what it takes to support a truly reliable electric grid are the ones responsible for the insanity, in cahoots with compliant State Governments unwilling to push back against the insanity. Coal could be a saving source. The coal industry has literally been shuttered in a very short period of time just as the coal fired power plants have been razed to the ground years before necessary. What moron thinks that was a great idea???

Here we are and not so suddenly. When does the push back begin????????????

With sincere apologies to less dangerous morons and busy bodies lurking in the background.

The grid wasn’t designed for and can’t support electrical vehicles. Unplug them. The world is run by morons.

I suspect they did think this through. I further suspect the plan was never for all of us to be able to have electric cars.

Agreed. But what do we do? It's not like the Dims are letting gasoline be cheap and accessible.

You are wrong. The Amazon has drought periods like other regions. Remember the fires that were supposed to endanger the “lungs of the world”
Happened during a drought.

Just wondering, do Democrats ever call their Republican colleagues their “friends across the aisle”? Diplomacy doesn’t really seem to work for conservatives.

The greenies who think EVs are the future will have a rude awakening when there is no organic tofu on the shelves of the Whole Foods. American agriculture runs on diesel fuel and there are not even prototypes of practical electric tractors, combines and heavy haul trucks that are essential to planting, harvesting and transporting grain to markets. Killing off diesel fuel is a sure means of producing widespread famine.

Heck we didn’t have one in the house. We had
to go to the local store to use a phone.

EVs are essential to The Great Reset. Destroy society, and on the rubble build a worldwide Marxist hell.
